I think there was a mistake on the site in its description of the Old Vic.
It's confusing but here is what it says on the boxes of the actual products.
(I actually own all 3 of these, and they are right in front of me right now so here it goes!)
Old Vic Collection:
"Featuring patent black taxi polish under The Old Vic overglaze topcoat"
(The Old Vic set gives blue effects)
The Donmar Collection: (again, straight off the box):
"Featuring plum black Chelsea polish under The Donmar overglaze top coat"
(This gives golden/green /copper effects)
And finally,
The Wyndham collectin:
"Featuring Teal Black Kensington polish under the Wyndam overglaze topcoat"
(this one gives green with a hint of blue green effects)
I don't know what's in the overglaze coats, but I doubt they are interchangeable.
The bottom coats, though, are blackened colors, but you can tell that the old vic has a straightforward black basecoat,
the donmar has a blackened plum basecoat, and
the wyndam has a blackened teal basecoat.
Would be very interesting to play around and put the overglazes over other nails polishes as well!
Hope that helped!!

The Old Vic is not the same as The Wyndham. The Wyndham collection includes a dark teal polish called Kensington and the Wyndham overglaze. The Wyndham looks like emeralds and the Old Vic looks like sapphires.

I was confused by the base coat color, too. The Old Vic base color is black with an overlay that turns it blue with blue flecks (like an opal) in it. I can't speak for the others.

Under "This set contains," the same polishes are listed for both sets, but if you read under "What it does," the Wyndham set has Teal Black for its polish color, whereas the Old Vic set has Black Taxi polish. Likewise, the Wyndham has the Wyndham Overglaze top coat, which appears to have clear holographic particles, while the Old Vic has the Old Vic Overglaze top coat, which contains blue particles.
It confused me, too, at first. Perhaps the nice editors at Sephora will correct the "This set contains" section of the Old Vic Collection so it agrees with what is listed under the "What it does" section for the Old Vic Collection. ; )

answer 8
This has black cream base and old vic topcoat which is an intense neon blue holographic looking top coat.
That description is for Wyndham set which is different in appearance than this one. They must have posted the incorrect description.

answer 9
Hi JC25, The sets are very similar only the polish in this set is a pure black whereas the Wyndham collection has a very dark teal color. The overglaze top coat included is the same in both sets.
