How can you set whole hheadd with 8rollers,.

Years ago hot rollers came in pig of 8, You had to reheat each time you wanted to set another part of head , It wasn't worth it . Took to long and first part fell before you even finished. Is thatvwhat will happen here?

I roll one half , then reheat and roll the other half. They heat pretty fast.Also I dont always wait for the curlers to be completely cool before taking them out. I do both sections while doing my morning routine and my hair is ready to go when Im done.

I have pretty thick hair and I just wrap big sections around the 8 curlers so I fit all my hair in curlers at once. Even though the curlers seem like there is almost too much hair on them, they work. It's more for volume than curl though.

I have thin hair but lots of it. I was thinking the same thing. until i used it. The rollers stay hot, even when you are taking them out, so if you need to do another part, you can quickly without needing to reheat the roller.

I'm not really sure, but I did look on the T3 website to see if they sold replacement clips (because I figured I'd lose or break one at some point) and I didn't see any. You may want to try calling their customer service.

Hi,

I noticed in the instructions that it says the rollers should heat up in just 3 minutes and the light should change ... its been over 3 minutes and the light indicator did not change - what color should it change to?

It will still work; however, you'll get a more defined result using the smaller set of rollers (containing 1.50" and 1.25" rollers) from T3 which is not carried by Sephora. The key thing to remember is that wrapping your hair 1.5 times around the roller will result in a curled under look (instead of an actual curl) while 3 revolutions results in a soft curl or wave.

If your hair generally has trouble holding a curl, you'll want to leave the rollers in for 20 min or more to allow more heat penetration. You may also want to experiment with hairspray.

T3 makes two sets of these rollers; Sephora carries only the set for longer hair. (There are 3 sizes of T3 rollers; each set has a different array of sizes that are right for longer or shorter hair.) Hopefully, Sephora will carry the set for shorter hair or offer extra spare rollers so that your set can be individualized for your hair type.

I have used many other roller sets but this is the first one that actually gave my hair volume with loose curls. The other sets gave me curls but no volume. This product is the best for adding volume.

I haven't tried babyliss or any other tourmaline or ceramic rollers. I've used standard hot rollers in the past which honestly came with more rollers so I ended up with more curl. However, I also ended up with more damage. With the T3, I may not get as much curl but I get healthy, and shiny waves/ big curls...without the damage. For me...that was the selling point so yes...I like these better. I do hope they will improve them, make it easier to use and provide a few more rollers in a larger set. I have long hair.

HOW do I place the rollers on the heating element?

I have still not decided whether or not I want to send these rollers back - I like the results, but I'm not sure if and when I have placed the rollers properly on the base - am I supposed to turn them clockwise as far as they will go? I can't seem to get all eight to heat every time; sometimes I'm lucky, sometimes not. What am I doing wrong? There are no instructions included about placement, only about styling hair, so I'd love to hear from someone who is using this successfully - just how exactly am I supposed to place these rollers on the heating element?? Thanks so much!

Just make sure that they are seated properly on the heating element. You make have to gently move them back and forth to make sure they are flush with the surface.

Thanks for that, yes, I did always see the prongs and the divided semicircle, and try to line them up, but how come I am able to still turn the rollers? You would think they wouldn't be able to turn once lined up in the slot; that the mechanism would be a line it up, push down and feel the contact - it seems inexact - thanks for your answer, though! :-)

On each roller there are 2 prongs, on each base spot there is a circle divided in half. You have to make sure each prong maked it into each semi circle. What I did was looked at the bottom of each roller and carefully lined it up to the base while tilting the base a bit so I can get a good view of where the prongs are going. Make sure when it is lined up you press down to make contact. There is no need to turn the rollers. If your gentle you can really feel them lining up.

I would not recommend these rollers for shorter than shoulder length. They are large and have to have enough hair to wrap around them several times before the clips will hold the rollers.
