Not worth that $$$. The only way that they work well is wet and when you use them wet you go through a lot of product. They did not seem prismatic to me at all..just like a regular high shine shadow.

In my opinion its really not any different than other eye shadows. Its not really worth the buck. I got shimmery sand. Its nice but you can definitively find other less expensive brands.

I had the same question and then I first tried it on in the store and was so impressed that I think it is actually worth the money. The colors are very pigmented but quite flattering and the shadow goes on very smoothly. And it lasts. I even had an evening when I didn't take my make up off before bed and the shadow still looked pretty in the morning!

Good question. Honestly, nothing. I purchased the shadow because I loved the shade. If you are expecting the product to provided something different from other shadows, this may not be worth the money to you. However, if you are purchasing because you like the shade, you should go for it. The shadow is nice.

How long they last?
like I hear these are very pigmented and I was wondering how long before the colour starts to wear off and also just really how long the product alone lasts.

I always use an eyeshadow primer. Since I've done that, my eyeshadow (no matter what colour or how much I use) lasts all day. This is one thing I would highly recommend to anyone who has issues with eyeshadow creasing. I used to have creasing shadow after a couple of hours but since using primer (there are many good ones), this doesn't happen.

The eyeshadows will wear off depending on how your skin chemistry absorbs it, if you apply any primers, or what else you wear. Overall, the shadow can last you 12 to 24 months.

Question
How is the texture/pigment?
These seem like a gel formula which will go on smooth, but set on the skin and last all day. It's a new trend in more brands, and it works for anyone with dry or oily skin. Has anyone used them yet?

Hi! These are not a gel, they are a dry powder, but it is incredibly finely milled so the pigment is richer, and when applied with a wet brush turns into a rich cream that dries with even more pigment.

answer 1
Not sure about high shine, haven't used that, but it is highly pigmented, you can put it on light or build it up to an amazing color. It was recommended to me by a Sephora beauty consultant to load your brush and pat the color on the lid otherwise you may get some dusting of it in places you don't want it and it does stay and you wouldn't want to smug it onto you cheekbone.

I think it might depend on the shade you get. I have Shimmery Sand which is a light shimmery beige colour. I use it as a base when I use colours in this family, so I wouldn't want a lot of pigment. But it has a nice shimmer and tone to it.

Hello,

You can apply this product wet to intensify the pigment or you can wear it by itself.

answer 5
Bare Essentials intensity is different because its all fine glitter, so loses some of its color. Sephora's Chrome is luminescent with a bit more subdued shine but better color pay off. What's nice is, you can increase its intensity & shine ( using water ). Can't due that with Bare Essentials

To me, these eye shadows are better, prettier and less expensive that Estee Lauder. I use everything Estee Lauder. The product they have is darker, less attractive and costs more. Sephora brand prisma collection eye shadows are really pretty on, wet or dry. Nice price, too!
