Compared side by side in store, the Kabuki that comes w/ this set is a teeny tiny bit smaller. Not a mini but not quite as big as the regular w/ the zipper case. However I like this one much better, its the perfect size and easy to use, great quality too :)

I was dithering between 125 & 128 this summer (was slightly tanned). Tested both in the store & I thought 125 was a *true* neutral beige and 128 was a teench darker AND ever-so-slightly warmer in color. I bought 125 (I wear 118 during the winter).

I would go to a store if you can. I went 3 times and the first time was told a different color. Then the next 2 times the same color. All from 3 different associates. So I picked the one they picked twice of course and it has been a perfect shade. Go home after they put it on you so you can see what it looks like and check it out in your car and in different lights before you buy one.

They just have slight shade differences, both have beige undertones but 128 is slightly darker. If you're buying in-store then have an employee do a swatch on your skin to see which matches you better. If you're buying online then it's basically just your decision on whether you believe you're closer to a 'fair' skin tone or a 'medium' skin tone.

The Microfinish Powder and Primer are "to go" sizes that are also sold by Sephora. The Foundation and the Brush are full sizes. The brush does not come with it's zipper case though.

- 0.17 oz HD Microfinish Powder (HD Microfinish Powder To Go is $15.00 on it's own and also 0.17 oz)

- HD Kabuki Brush (full size. zipped pouch NOT included. $39.00 on it's own)

- 0.5 oz HD Microperfecting Primer (HD Microperfecting Primer To Go is this size and is $15.00 on it's own)

- 1.01 oz HD Invisible Cover Foundation (full size product) $40.00 on it's own

So that's where the $109.00 value comes from.
You don't get the brush pouch, but considering not having it getting you $30.00 off the set is a great deal.

Hope that helps <3

The foundation is full size and the brush is the same size as the one that's retailed in stores, but without the zipper pouch, and the primer and powder are the travel versions that are also sold separately in stores.

I've found my breakouts have become less frequent because I love the way it looks AND it doesn't irritate my skin, so I don't touch my face like I used to.

I use that color and tried the 118 (I don't need any more pink tones in my red skin for the winter). Hope this helps. You may want to call Sephora. I had to return my kit as it was a perfect match for my skin color but not for my skin (drying, caused redness). The gals at Sephora helped me with my coloring (I am very light but wanted the red out)

I think you should try either 117 marble (yellow undertone) or 118 flesh (beige undertone). Both of these are great colors for fair to light skin. The 118 was a little too dark for me, I'm light complected with a yellowish/beige undertone with dark hair. I use 117 in the winter and 120 in the summer. Hope that helps!
