If your eyes are green (sorry, it wasn't entirely clear if your eyes are green or if you're looking for a new green eye shadow or both) and you want to play up the colour then, apparently, using a colour on the opposite side of the colour wheel (an artists' and designers' tool) will play up the green. So something in the purple family would really highlight the colour of your eyes.

I have brown eyes and I bought the Scenic Route one. I wear the lighter color across my whole lid and the green shade on the outside corner (up to the crease). My eyes are really deep brown and it looks really pretty with my coloring.

I purchased three seperate sets, so far, for my brown eyes I am in LOVE with the epiphany duo. I find myself wearing it every day since i got it , yet have about 50 colorsor more in my make up case!! give it a try, you can always return it if you don't love it. A little goes a long way, start with just a bit on the brush and add more depending on your style.

something that has some warmer tones in it. My eyes are half blue and half green (green being the recessive, less noticeable color) so I often play up both colors whenever I feel like it. For green eyes: purple and a lighter white/champagne/bronze color. I also have Top Shelf and absolutely love it! But that one's very neutral and would work on any eye color as well.

Any purple would just dazzle your green eyes,
In the day you could use a light purple all over your lid
and at night you could spice it up with a dark purple in your crease!

I would go for "The Truth" it has a wonderful pallet of 4 .. including a light almost peachy shade and shades of brown to work with it ... it would be gorgeous with your green eyes and bring them out to wonderful advantage ... but subtle enough for daytime use!

I use Enlightenment and it is very nuetral matte browns. I have very oily eyelids and use Nars primer underneath -- my eyeshadow does not budge as long as I'm wearing that and it works with all eyeshadows I've tried. Without the Nars, nothing stays on my lids.

I wouldn't consider any of these shadows matte, but they are blendable enough that the shimmer does not have to be too much. I am also wary of too glittery shadows, but I think these have just the right amount. Glittery if you want, but subtle shimmer if you don't.

I am also a mature woman over 50 looking for an eyeshadow that would not accentuate those little fine creases appearing around my eyes. I did not want something too glittery. I found exactly what I was looking for in "The Escape" eyeshadow duo which, BTW, is matte. (I tried it at the store before purchasing it.) So, you can go ahead and purchase it with confidence!

The right hand color is matte, perfect for lining eyes or creating that smoky eye look. And it's darker in person than in the pic. The left hand color is more medium brown/bronze and has high shimmer.

Hi, I have "Storm" and it is matte. I love the colors, one is almost white and the other is beautiful gray. Great for daytime use because there are no sparkles and goes with everything. The colors blend well so you could amp it up for evening too. I also have one of the purple duos and find that its colors aren't quite matte, but definitely not sparkly either. Again, another beautiful duo. Hope this helps!

I think I would go with "The Truth" it is one of my staples that I often wear ... I have many of the pallets ... it is a 4 pallet set and I absolutely love it! It has from peaches to darker browns and it compliments my fair skin and blue eyes wonderfully and as I am sure it would your fair skin and eyes ... Hope you like it as much as I do ... that was the first pallet I purchased ... and I have continued, and continued, and continued ... LOL! Really happy with them ... thought I loved their previous shadows wore them for years but I find I truly love these now! Go figure!

I don't remember seeing any truly matte shades, and I tried them all. However, most of the duos would be totally appropriate for an office. The shimmer seems to be minimal in all the ones I remember trying. I'd recommend the Inspiration or one of the brown/tan shades most for an office-setting.

I never have any problem with creasing when using BE's primer with this .... maybe you are not letting it dry a tiny bit before you put your shadow on ... or maybe you are using too much primer or not enough ... I would play with it a bit ... I have tried other primers and honestly I much prefer BE's primer and I never, never have any problem with creasing with these shadows! Now I do put mine on with a Q-tip instead of the included applicator so that I can blend, blend, blend and I put in on fairly light and keep adding in layers until I get the shade I am looking for ...Good luck!

Have you experimented with different primer brands? I find that the most popular (Too Faced, Urban Decay) don't help me at all, but NARS does wonders. If a standard thinly-textured primer doesn't work for you, maybe venture into a creamy eye base like Stila prime pot.
