Is there a big difference between this brush and the number 2? If not, which one would be more beneficial to buy?

I dont want to spend a ton of money on two brushes that look to be identical. Which one would be better? Or is there a big enough difference to justify getting both?

It's definitely a bit bigger. No 2 brush is good for blush. But if you are buying for power , No. 1 could be better.

Maybe it's better to try and compare them in a Sephora store with the real thing.

It depends on what you are using the brush for. If you are wanting an all over powder brush, then No. 1 is for you. If you want a
more controlled application for blush, bronzer, or luminizer, then No.2 is better. The best for foundation application is the
Retractable Kabuki for complete control of liquid foundations.
