Does this product work on acne scars?

I still I suffer from oiliness and breakouts even though my skin has gotten sensitive and drier in the winter. I have marks all over my face from the last breakout and still have a few pimples. I want to know if it works on acne scars and if it helps unclog pores.

There's nothing in this product that will have an effect on scar tissue. It will, however, reduce the redness from hyperpigmentation.

The newer Dr. Weil serum is formulated to treat dark spots left from acne scarring. I just started to use it and it hasn't irritated my sensitive break-out prone skin. My breakouts did decrease when I started using the original Dr. Weil serum, but that was because the serum helped normalize my skin instead of having both very dry and very oily areas.

This serum has helped to calm my skin and acne problems. As for the dark spots, I have had great success with the Dr. Weil Mega-Bright. Don't expect immediate results...it will take a month or so, however, it did eventually correct my skin tone which is now very vibrant. Also, Mega-bright smooths the skin and helps the foundation go on smoothly.

How to use this line?

I have been looking into using Dr. Weil's line for Origins. I have Rosacea and very sensitive skin. I am interested in this serum, the treatment lotion and the moisturizer. I also use a sunblock during the day. Plus I use Finacea which is a topical cream my dermatologist gave me for redness. This feels like product overload, so I'm interested to see how other people use this line, especially the serum and treatment lotion. Do people use both, or one instead of the other? And when do you put them on?

I use the serum twice a day. Here's my routine:

-- Cleanse
-- Apply E'shee serum #1 (anti-rosacea). Wait 5 minutes.
-- Apply Mega Mushroom serum (it's more like a lotion than a serum). Wait 5 minutes.
-- Apply Finacea generously to problem spots only.

I have been using the Weil Face Serum for years - you will not be disappointed! I use it to combat acne and to clear redness in my face. It has practically cured BOTH! In any case, I wash my face and then put this serum on right after. Then I use either the Dr. Weil Face Cream or another moisturizer. I use the serum morning and night. There is ZERO irritation. Rule of thumb for products on the face: Thin to Thick. So basically your serums go on after you cleanse, and then Lotions and THEN moisturizers.

Breakouts & how much to use?

Two questions:
1. Did anyone experience breakouts when first using this? If so, did the breakouts subside?

2. How many pumps do you use? I've been using two pumps per application, but wasn't sure if I should use more or less.
