It doesn't have a rough texture. It's very smooth and foams up pretty well with the clarisonic. Also, it's nice because, unlike other washes ive tried, a little goes a long way when it comes to foaming up with the clarisonic.

This product will do just fine removing makeup. Since it is creamy in texture it really gets the makeup off.

It does clean my face well, but i do use the matching lotion and eye makeup remover! But if you just want it to clean ur face not ur eye makeup i think its good.

I notice that it leaves bits and pieces of eye make up. I would recommend removing eye make up prior to using this.

I wouldn't use this on dry skin. It's not drying, but it isn't moisturizing.

Yes! I have dry skin and live in a very dry climate. This is my favorite cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling clean (I don't like cream cleansers) and hydrated.

This cleanser is perfect for dry and sensitive skin! Very creamy and nourishing. You definitely want to stay away with anything with harsh ingredients or gel cleansers if you have dry skin. But this product is perfect for you :)

It contains certain sulfates, more gentle, then the more general sulfates such as sodium lauryl sufates. Sulfates help the product lather as well as rinse quickly. The harsher the sulfate the quicker the results. I believe the sulfates are more gentle in this product.

I do not know why the full ingredient list cannot be found on either Sephora.com or Origins.com. I give a Failing grade to both for neglecting to allow customers to be fully informed when they purchse products.

Usually, I refer to < www (dot) makeupalley (dot) com > to get a list of ingredients. (Note, that I have been instructed by Sephora not to use a non-Sephora.com URL).

From this site, here's the ingredient list:
