It states the product is a night cream and I would only recommend using it as such since I believe the product works best while you sleep. Of course, no one is going to stop you from using it as a day cream or however you want to use it but it may or may not produce the same results it claims to if you don't follow how it's meant to be used.

This broke me out and I returned it, but it might have been the vitamin E, which I am allergic to. I got red bumps on one cheek. The woman in the Origins store told me to stick with it because it was probably working, but I returned it. When I break out from a product it usually takes weeks for the bumps (or whatever) to go away. Maybe I should have followed her advice. The great thing about Sephora is that you have nothing to lose by buying something since you can return it if necessary.

I've wondered the same thing - I've never seen an oil free version on Sephora, so I'm not sure where people are getting the "oil free" from. I have combination skin with a super oily t-zone and I use this anyway - it's made a huge difference in my skin! My t-zone is no longer nearly as oily and this has never caused me to breakout. My cheeks and chin tend to be dry and this has restored moisture to them and generally smoothed out the entire texture of my face. I used to use oil free products as a rule because I was afraid of adding more oil, but I discovered recently that (for my skin, at least - your mileage may vary) this was making me even oilier! I've slowly been introducing moisturizers with oil back in and I've seen a big reduction in sebum and breakouts. Like I said, everyone is different and your experience might be totally different than mine - but I would definitely give this night cream a chance. If it doesn't work, you can always return it!

Yes! I have oily skin and it has actually helped clear my breakouts. When you first put it on it will look shiny, but it absorbs overnight.

I've used this a couple of times for a day lotion and found no problem with it. I add in my StriVectin SPF 30 into it to give it sun protection and I'm out the door. If you find that it's not too heavy or too thick when you use it for night then you should have no issues with using it in the day.

So I bought the ole henrikson vitamin C serum and use that in the morning with a moisturizer and this overnight vitamin E cream in conjunction with the vitamin c by ole henrikson, hope this helps

My entire face feels way more hydrated after just using this night cream for a short time! I'm addicted to it. You will not be able to completely diminish your laugh lines but you can soften them and make your face feel amazing with this stuff! I love the smell and more importantly, love the results!!

Not sure if it does, I started using ole henrickson vitamin c serum in conjunction with this overnight and wow it just transformed my face completely, I recommend to use the vitamin c serum in the morning aswell, my mother who is 51 has seen a great diffrence
