chemical. my sample size from origins says octisalate 5.00% avobenzone 3.00% octocrylene 2.70%. love this brand which they would get rid of the chemicals. smells great.

I have combination skin and it works perfectly on both areas of my face. If you have oily skin, then I would recommend to just take a very little dab, but it still works as well.

While it's moisturizing, I like to use something heavier at night. I use proactiv on my skin which can be quite drying and I've noticed that my nose is still a bit flaky even though I use this daily. With that being said, I don't have super harsh acne but I love this cream and I haven't experienced any major breakouts since using it (but I started with it the same time as using proactiv) and my skin never feels dry during the day. It's protected my skin really well though..no sun burn!

Not sure about the "hypoallergenic" part. I used it for a little less than a week and something in it definitely caused a reaction on my skin. Tiny itchy bumps all over my face and neck. Seems to be clearing up with Benadryl and keeping my skin product free, but I guess I'm allergic to one of the ingredients. Patch test it first if you want to be sure you're not allergic.

It's worth the money because
1. it is very spreadable so you don't need a lot
2. the jar comes full of product. You know how some moisturizers have a big air pocket on top or inside (*cough* Ole Henriksen *cough*), when I opened mine it's like about to come out.

I'm alternating between moisturizers, so I can't tell you exactly how long it will last, but, the quality is comparable to other moisturizer in this range or about $10 more expensive.

I hate to say it but I doubt that a moisturizer can block or protect your skin from parabens in a foundation. There are some out there you just have to search them out and give them a try!!
