Can you use this product to relieve puffiness on your eyelids?

answer 1
Yes, you can use this on your eyelids. What I found after using this product for about two months is that although at first it relieves puffiness on the eyelid for a short time, after a few hours it made my eyelids more puffy. It helped relieve puffiness under my eyes very well, but seemed to add to the puffiness on my eyelids.

I do use it on my lids from time to time, but focus mainly on daily use at the inner corner of the eye and undereye areas. If you are going for a more natural, barely there fresh face using this on your eyes (lids included) with a coat of mascara and a soft tinted lip would be beautiful.

Yes, it works very well on both upper & lower eyelid puffiness. It feels a little heavy and even a bit tacky at first but sinks right into my lids in just a few minutes and makes them feel great! I have never used anything better.

Yes, it will relieve the puffiness as it does haev caffeine it in. But it's mostly the reflecting particles that help take the attention away from the puffy appearance of eyes. I don't put it on my eyelids, just under my eyes and out toward the sides where crows feet will form.

I have another product I use for eyes - but they make a product for puffy morning eyes that I just bought - I haven't used it enough to notice yet. The eyes are sensitive area and you need special emolients for that area to see results.

answer 12
Yes, you can apply it to your eyelids and expect some TEMPORARY relief to the puffiness. Emphasis on the results being temporary. I used this cream every day and night for about two months and saw NO results for my under eye dark circles but did see some slight reduction in puffiness. I would recommend Lotus Eye Gel from Fresh, that product seemed to work better overall.

Yes, I use it under concealer. I use Bare Minerals Multi-tasking powder in bisque. So I don't even use a "true" cream concealer and it works just fine. The tint is not that noticeable and it does sink in.

This product can definitely be used under concealer. It actually serves as a nice base before you apply your make up to hydrate the eye. The tint reviewers are talking about is probably due to the pink color, not necessarily any pigment (Origins refers to it as 'natural optic brighteners'), but I always have to use concealer because the cream doesn't actually minimize my dark circles. Hope this helps!

Side Note: If you were interested in Origin's other eye creams, I have purchased the Starting Over Age Erasing Eye Cream with Mimosa and I had to return that because it really stung my eyes every time I applied the product under my eyes. So, I would definitely not recommend that eye cream for you if you were considering it.

It does both at the same time...it hides the dark circles, but it also eliminates dark circles, which is why we must apply it twice, one in the evening and one in the morning, so that it minimizes the dark circles, but also brighten up the dark circles especially in the morning before we go to work, etc.. It helps a lot!.. I've been using it for a week and a half and I LOVE IT, it has minimized my dark circles big time, I wasn't born with it, I've had sleepless nights due to work and etc, and this is just amazing, you do have to make sure you use it religiously, you cannot miss one evening, etc, because it is what helps to get rid of the dark circles and de-puff them.. Hope that helps

It doesn't eliminate dark circles; but really what product does? I think dark circles (which I have too) are just genetic. This product does a very nice job of hiding those circles and adding brightness to the area. I do not use it at night, since it is slightly tinted, only in the a.m. I'm a fan of Perfect World for Eyes. I love Origins and have used a lot of their products. Getting more sleep helps with the dark circles!

In my experience with this product, I have not observed any reduction of dark circles. I still use it because it is soothing when you apply it in the morning and hydrates the eye before applying concealer. However, other reviewers notice some differences in their dark circles, so I would try the product out for yourself to see if it can also have this effect.

U apply it in the morning, when you wake up...if you have your routine of washing your face in the morning, you mentioend your skin is dry...you should be using a day cream and a night cream moisterizer, especially that fall/winter is approaching, our skin tends to be on the dry side.. once you've moisterized your face in the morning, the eye cream goes on even smoother just after you've moisterized your face..then you apply it on just before your makeup and let it dry while you put the rest of your makeup on (Avoid putting concealer/foundation on your eyes while it's still drying, then you can apply it on top for more converage if necessary), then in the evenings, before you go to bed, apply it under ur eyes, and use very little..you can apply it once or twice during the evening, I usually let it dry and then re-apply it again before I go to bed..I find it helps with the hydration of the eyes and minimizing the dark circles/puffiness...Hope this helps!

I use this every morning, after cleansing but before moisturizer. This doesnt replace moisturizer for two reasons, 1) Its only for your eyes, you still need an SPF moisturizer for the rest of your face, 2) it has no SPF in it, so you need to put SPF moisturizer over this. Thats what I do and it works amazing.

I have been using it for 2-3 weeks and exclusively use it in the morning. You can use it at night as well, but it is not as heavy as a night cream. It also contains skin brighteners that give you a more "bright eyed" look without being too overwhelming (i have a fair skin tone). It does an excellent job erasing puffiness and I am starting to notice a difference in the darkness under my eyes. Works well with other night creams. Great addition to your morning regime
