If you look closely, you'll see that the dimensions are different. This train case is slightly larger.

The case has both colors in it. The metal trim is more hot pink/fustian, while side panels are deep magenta with burgundy sparkle. Even though the color is extremely festive, deep and somewhat sophisticated (not your plain hot pink girly-girl), charging $35 more only for color does not sense from a responsible consumer point of view. But I see the commercial reason. Teenager making money only for their pocket expenses would not mind to babysit for a few more hours to match their makeup case to their cell phone.

The color is a deep hot pink. I think it just costs more because of the color. I see no other differences about the case compared to my others.

I called the main sephora office and they told me that this specific train case was a limited thing that they were not going to get any more in at all. Once they're gone, they're gone. I was so sad. But you know they can always change their minds and decide to carry more where they were such a big seller.

Interior dimensions; trays open all the way out/access to second tray; how many palettes would you be able to fit in the bottom?

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the trays, as well as those of the bottom "compartment"? Do the two tiers open all the way out so you can easily access what is stored in the tray beneath? Lastly, approximately how many palettes do you think you could store in the bottom compartment? Thanks for any info!
