Fragrance?

I hate strongly scented moisturizers. For instance, that olay regenerist was finally used as hand creme because I couldn't sleep with it on my face.
Has anyone an opinion as to how strongly scented this is?

It's not overwhelming, you might smell it at first, but then it goes away. I forget I have it on.

It has a scent to it but it isn't over powering. It smells great. I have sensitive skin and I am fine with this one. I have had products before where my boyfriend can smell my face from 5 feet away but this one, he'd have to get up to my face to smell it. It is really nice but not too much.

I do not find the scent strong at all. I too do not like anything strong on my face. Once it absorbs, which is fast, the scent is gone before I get into bed.

I also have used the Olay product you mentioned and found the fragrance to be strong. The Sephora brand does have a fragrance, but to me is less than many creams I've tried. I have asthma and the scent isn't strong enough to be a problem. The scent also dissipates quite quickly.

It does have a scent. I'm sensitive to perfumed moisturizers too and it took me a few nights to get used to it. Having said that, it is not very strongly scented.
I don't have any other night creams to compare it to, but if you are allergic to perfume or scented moisturizers, I would pass on this. If it's a matter of preference and not a sensitivity issue, then it might work for you.

I think that this is medium/strong on the fragrance. I can't smell it after a few minutes (as I sleep). I am not particularly sensitive to that, though.

This does have a scent but it is not bad at all. I don't know if it is strong enough to affect you the way olay does. I would not recommend this to you only because I don't find that it does anything at preventing or reducing wrinkles. You def need something higher priced and stronger. I would try Lancome's new visionairre serum. It's pricey but works great. Best thing I have tried on the market. Good luck

I don't find the scent offensive at all. Someone commented that it was old lady cream smelling but I don't agree....it's light and doesn't linger.

Sephora makes a day equivalent, the age defy mosture cream, that has spf 15, and also a regular day mosturizer, but I don't see why you could not put a regular SPF over the mosturizer.

Yes, layer the moisturizer on first then apply the sunscreen. You should be good to go.

Question

Did anyone else's jar seem only half full?

Purchased today and when I got home and opened the jar it seemed only half full. I am not sure if I got a bad jar or if that's just how much cream there is. Seemed kinda odd to me to that the jar wouldn't be totally full. Anyone else have this happen? I will go back to Sephora to return, but it's about 40mins away and I would like to save myself a trip if that's just how much there is.

Mine was filled to the internal plastic lid with a tab that you find when you open the jar, I think that was the same as the "fill line" around the inside, but I did find it very odd that the jar was so big in proportion to the contents. It's at least 25% oversized for no reason! The jar on the right in my photo holds 1.7 oz and the sephora cream 1.69 oz. The jar design is wasteful & bulky.

I find the jar to be larger than the actual product contained (its the correct amount-1.5 oz I believe), but I beleve it sits about 1.4" from the top of jar if settled evenly.

I have with no problem and I have sensitive eyes. However, most of the time I use the Sephora Age Defying eye cream (use it morning and night).

Yes, you can definitely use it around your eyes. However, this product does not specify that it is a eye-cream. I have experienced that it does not irritate my eyes at night. You might not want to spread it on too think in the eye area just to avoid the product from traveling too close to the eyeball.

Allergy

I am intensely allergic to sesame seeds and all sesame related products (sesame oil, sesame butter, etc.). Therefore I need to see all the ingredients that are in a product in order to determine whether it's safe for me. So far all I see are lists of so-called "toxins" (which are not toxic to me) that are NOT in the product. That doesn't tell me what is there.
