Yes! It certainly is!
I was most excited by the fact that after the 1st use my hair felt softer under water with no conditioner. When before I began using it my hair would feel stiff and tangle quickly.

I'm very happy with it.

my hair is colored and this product (i tried the intro kit) did make it softer and shinier after the first use. i've used it a total of 4x now and my hair does feel nicer.

My hair is long, fine and dyed blonde; this line did not work for me though I would assume that most damage is due to coloring and this product asserts it will fix hair damage, period.

Can't really agree with that. It does not give better results than any other shampoo and conditioner in that or lower price range. Gives hair a nice shine, though.

I would think so; since the shampoo is sulfate-free it's not going to strip your hair of color and moisture, which is a definite plus.

My hair is dyed on the bottom and I'm attempting to grow it out. So part of my hair is also non-dyed. The restore system works for both parts of my hair.

How well will this (or the other lines) work with long hair?

I have been considering this brand for quite some time and reviews are mixed with not many saying how long their hair is. So I'm asking.. will this work with my hair? I have long, thick, wavy hair that has been dyed and I use heat to style my hair about 3-5 days a week. I have split ends that can get really bad if I don't trim my hair every 2-3 months. I'm also looking to smooth out the texture and have been considering the "frizz" line of this brand as well. Thoughts please!

Sounds like my hair is a lot like yours and I HATE this product. The shampoos and conditioners are only so so (they smell good, and seem to work OK, but for the price, I could just use something much cheaper and get the same results.) The Mask that comes in this little kit is the worst product designed to "restore" that I've ever used. My hair actually got worse after using it. I don't recommend this product.

I have the same type of hair, minus the 3-5 days of heat. That can stress my hair out but if you want to try this product I would start off with the mask after each time you use heat on your hair. Just to give it a chance. 3-5 times a week for your hair is a lot. The mask may help you trim less in between cuts.

I have fairly long hair (about four inches past my shoulders) and it is dry and damaged from relaxing it. My hair is normally fairly curly and thick - not as coarse as African American hair. I did not love this product and felt it stripped the moisture from my hair rather than making it healthier. I tried using the No Frizz styling spray (as I blow dry my hair straight every other day) and felt as though I wasn't protecting my hair enough (I also use pure argan oil to help with split ends and even in conjunction with the No Frizz product I felt my hair was dry and frizzy). Before I bought this product I saw mixed reviews as well. It might just depend on the texture of your hair.

It sounds like we have the same hair type and styling regimen. I'm thinking that the positive reviews were from people with different hair types and styles. I would not recommend this for long hair that needs to be styled. I wasn't able to manage my hair at all after using this...even the deep conditioner.

This was great for me. And I've tried everything. The mask is good for split ends. Remember a little goes a long ways. Let your hair dry naturally . Now I only use hairspray to hold. This kit is a travel size. But worth it's weight in gold.
I rec'vid compliments the 1st day of use.

My hair was the same as yours before I cut it off: long, wavy, thick, dyed, etc., and I tried this product out to fix the damage and moisturize, and it totally did not work. It made my hair even dryer than it was before, actually. Maybe it works for some people, but it didn't for me. So, just a warning. It is expensive stuff. I prefer Tresseme.

is it possible that the restore regimen causes hair loss?

I am in my 50'S - while my dermatologist and I try to figure out why my hair is thinning, I began using the Living Proof Restore Recovery Regimen to provide health and nourishment to my existing hair, hoping that fewer hairs would fall out., as a result of the treatments. I'm finding a pattern. Once a week when I wash my hair and use the tx, a great deal of hair is deposited on the drain screen. the other days of the week when I don't use the tx, there is very little hair that has fallen from my head. I know this isn't the initial cause of the hair loss, but we think that may have been resolved and now I'm just trying to slow further loss. Is it possible that this Regimen is actually causing hair loss? I use it exactly as directed. Please help me!! thank you

I personally found these products to be very abrasive- with an almost waxy sticky quality, so it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they were "pulling" out more hair than necessary when you use them. I would recommend switching to something else.
