Outside dimensions: 3.75" x 3.75" x 0.75" thick
Side note: it feels like there's a magnet inside the case rim which helps it stay closed when folded together. (a sweet little case)

Carmine is one of the ingredients for the dark brown and "steel blue" eyeshadows. I don't see carmine listed as an ingredient for any of the other shadows/blushes.

answer 2
Hi! I read the ingredient list on the back of the box and did see that a couple of the shadows contain carmine. The matte pink shadow looks like the only one that has that ingredient in it, all other items do not. Hope I could help, have a happy holiday!

Question
does the powder fall out and get mixed up?

Actually, no, there is a plastic sheet that sits in between the palette so it doesn't mix. Some people dispose of it, I leave them there. I love this little, portable palette, very nice. Happy Holidays!

There's a plastic film given inside the palette. I would use that for as long as i can. That way the powders wont mix.

My best guess is early to mid October. Most tarte holiday kits are not available until October. I would call your local sephora. Ask if they have it. Ask when they get shipments. Call back when they get shipments until they have it. That is my method.

Most tarte holiday sets are available early to mid October. I guess they did a preview of them. They sell out quick. Since they are holiday sets, they do not go out until October. Not that I am thinking of Christmas shopping in mid-October. No, that is 'me' shopping time.

Question
Is it shimmery?
I am thinking of buying this along with some other things for chirstmas, but i am worried it will be too sparkly. She loves tarte because its natural.

Yes. It is shimmery but not over the top. If the person that wants this wants matte I would not suggest it.
