I have balayage highlights and the mask doesn't affect the treatment's effectiveness. In fact, it completely helps heal my treated hair. I would recommend that you ask your stylist if this mask will affect your hair colour/dye, but seeing as my stylist swears by Living Proof, I'd imagine you'd be fine. They also have products specifically for colour treated hair so maybe look into that as well?
hope this helps!

I agree with Missy( other review). I have blonde highlights. That never were really stripped until I began using it. For 42.00, its not worth the risk. Good conditioner otherwise.

It works great with colored hair and won't strip or affect the color in any way and helps strenghthen and repair damage done by coloring.

These living proof products absolutely are safe for color treated hair. I've been using them since they first came out, on my colored hair. Before this, all the products I used had silicone or oils in them, which made my hair look darker, so my hair did look brighter when I switched to this. It is not, however, damaging your hair or color. In fact, my stylist remarks how healthy my hair looks, and all I use is living proof.

I would avoid this product altogether. I can't swear to it, but I think it stripped my color.
