they both seem to do the same thing, only the lotion is a lighter version of the heavier creamy moisturizer. i switched to the lotion about a month ago & have noticed no difference than the moisturizer with regards to anti-aging benefits, but my face is less greasy. keep in mind that your daily climate makes a difference- if you have oily/combination skin & live in a typically humid climate (as i do), i would suggest the lotion; if you live in an area that is typically dry, or has harsh winters, definitely use the moisturizer for more coverage.

I've used both the moisturizing cream and the lotion. For me, the lotion is definitely the better option. I have sensitive, combination skin that HAD many dry patches. The lotion has completely resolved my issues, and has calmed my skin's sensitivity. The redness and irritation from rosacea are gone, and it has only been one week.

The lotion is much lighter so, I would use that in the morning sinks right in. The cream is rich soaks in but takes a few minutes. I have been using the cream for months now just started on the lotion. I really think I'm going to like it.

aside from the lotion being cheaper (which is great), it's much lighter than the moisturizer, which is creamy & heavy by comparison. if you have very dry skin, or need more coverage during winter, go with the moisturizer, but if you're like me & have oily skin, go with the lotion. i made the switch to the lotion a month ago & the anti-aging properties seem to work just as well, if not better, than the moisturizer.
