Does this work for thick hair?
I have very curly, thick hair, and I was wondering if it is durable and can withstand that type of hair?

My 9year old has thick, wavy hair (has to shapoo it twice to get the roots clean) down to her mid back and this comb gets through it. Its made of plastic, fairly thick, so I don't thick it will break easy.

My hair is really thick and it works pretty well on mine because it is so wide-toothed but if it's tangly then you should probably opt for a hairbrush

My hair is super thick and curly too and it doesn't seem to be having any trouble with it. But I comb mine when it's wet so...that may make a difference?

It should be able to withstand normal use, the teeth of the comb seem durable, but I have fine, straight hair. If you use leave in conditioner or other detangling products, it should definitely work.

Its made of plastic, so I don't think it can rust, so I would use it in the shower and dry it after each use.

This is made out of plastic and not metal so it would not rust in the shower.

No it will not rust because it is hard plastic, but I would not use it in the shower because you may ruin the shiny finish with the water and products you use. It deserves to be in your purse!! ;)

Yes absolutely you can use it in the shower It's plastic and coated in the shiny stuff . I would definitely take it out of the shower because i would be afraid of the silver enamel eroding with the hard water constantly being on it .

Is this avaliable in stores or just online ?
I visited the sephora in Ontario, Canada and i couldnt find this comb anywhere!! they did have some of the other new products in store so i dont know if i should wait or not

I live in California and have never seen it in the Sephora stores (Sephora stores can't possibly carry everything that is online, they have too many products!).

It's on sale now so it might be available at your local store but I would definitely call ahead before going in to save yourself some time. But originally it was available both online and in store.

Its a bit less then 5 1/2 inches on the widest part, and 4 inches tall (in highest part). Its big, but if you notice, the teeth are just right in size, what makes it big is the whole hello kitty face design.
