Haight is nice and bright, but Infamous is super sheer. Rockstar is one of my favorites, but it's dark, not bright.

Well there are only two colors in the palette that are vibrant and bright. The rest are just pretty basic colors. Like you can do a neutral eye, a smokey eye and a metallic eye. There is a lot a variety with this palette and it is very versatile. You can use the two fun colors for a POP!

Two or three colors are brighter, but still beautiful. The ones that appear neutral in the pan are actually still appealing to the eye, with a nice sheen to them. The colors barely fallout or are overly glittery. Its wearable but still vibrant and beautiful!

the purples, blue and green colors ( rockstar, first on the top left, infamous, the pinker on the top, and haight, the blue on the bottom right, and money, the one next to it) are all very gorgeous and NOT blah. but remember they are shimmery and you won't get crazy pigmented color splash with for example the vegan palette. if you are looking for a less natural more crazy check out other UD palettes, but this is very shimmery not SUPER sparkly like naked's half baked, smog, darkhorse, toasted, hustle, creep and gunmetal. hope this helped :D

there are 10 goodsized shadows. and i tell ya..of these colors, a little goes a LONG way. great purchase to use in adjunct with your naked palettes, etc.
if you aren't too daring with color, the colors can be smudged under the lower lash line or wet and used as a liner. gorgeous!
I made a pinkish smokey eye using the purpley pink color and used the lightest color on my lid and blended in the pinkish color from the outside in to make it less intense over the lighter color. just gorgeous! and it blends SO well!

The palette is almost a perfect square with rounded edges, so each side is about 4 1/2 or so inches long, about the size of a CD but a bit bigger because it has squared edges. It looked small when I first got it, but it's actually a perfect size!

I would go with Woodstock - it is on the sheer, but bright side - and you can layer it for more intense color, or use a wet brush to really make it stand out and glow. If you want a more baby-pink or sparkly look, layer something like Uzi or midnight cowboy on top. I also have pale skin and it is not overpowering.

According to the description, Infamous is a magenta sheen, while Woodstock is bright pink with slight shimmer. What that means is Infamous is slightly less pigmented, and will go on more sheer. However both can be muted or intensified based upon what you put underneath.

Also, infamous has a teeny tiny bit of purple sheen in the light, whereas Woodstock is all pink pigment. Both will look great on you, especially blended with any shade of gold =)

Infamous is a more reddish, darker pink. Almost like a pink maroon.

i'm not certain that the urban decay shadows are hypoallergenic or not, but if you are sensitive, i would make sure you use the UD primer potion prior and stay away from the glittery shades like in the other UD palettes.

The mariposa set is not typically a hypoallergenic item and you may want to do an allergy test beforehand just to be safe. The products are cruelty free and made of gentle ingredients to soothe the skin.
