What is it you are allergic to in lipstick, because maybe. These are not really lipstick though - are you allergic to temporary tattoos that you put on your skin? Like the ones when you were a kid and you put water on the back? If not, then these seem to be of a similar material.

Honestly I don't know but just know that if you try them and they itch, it's easy to get them off quickly. Maybe because they are made like a body tattoo and not like a lipstick they will be ok?

I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.

Are you allergic to temporary tattoos? I would suggest finding a gumball machine thing and testing out a small section of one of those on your lips to see how you react to the elements of a tattoo. Then try to see if you can compare the ingredients of a lipstick that iritates you and the ones found in Violent Lips.
I also have a reaction to some lipsticks and even lip balms that make my lips go numb or tingle. Violent Lips haven't given me any issues like that and when I remove them I haven't found they have dried my lips out either.

I can not be certain about lipstick allergies BUT this produict is literally a temporary tattoo... the kind you apply, wet the paper backing with water and peel off. My logic is, if you can wear a temporary tattoo, you SHOULD be able to wear Violent Lips.

It would depend on what ingredient in lip glosses/lipsticks that you are allergic to. This product has mineral oil, etc. much like a lipgloss has. It also has dyes in it which some people are also sensitive too.

I suppose you could just apply them. I found them a bit to big and long for my lips. I had to trim them with a manicure scissor. I think of it as similar to cutting either fake lashes or those nail press on printed polishes. If your lip is shaped exactly like them, probably uncommon, you should not have to.

Buy some cosmetics glitter and matching lip stick. These things are so frustrating. The color pay off is great. They peel off. That is if you can get them on well enough to wear them. And they also sink into the fine lines in the lip and make for some really ugly wrinkles. gloss looks and feels great on this product but it will dissolve them quickly. I haven't meet any one that can wear this product for more than 2 hours. That's on a lucky day. I wanted to love these but i just cant do it.

Petrochemical is made from petroleum, a crude oil. The difference is petrochemicals have petroleum and something else added to it to make things like rubber or plastic. Just petrolatum or petroleum is a natural, organic liquid and is used all the time in beauty products.

Yes. If it says it is free of petro chemicals it should be free of petro chemicals. It could be a natural petro such as petrolium jelly which might be what you listed, but I cannot see the question to be sure. I would email the brand. Nothing sephora can do about I don't think, besides refund your money. I know that companies are recently required to use the scientific chemical names of ingredients, which can be confusing since there is no way to tell if it is in its natural form or if it is in its man created form. You really just have to trust in the company.

answer 5
While Petrolatum and mineral oil are not technically petrochemicals(ie. directly made from petroleum), they are by-products from crude oil processing and are incredibly cheap. While there have not been definitive studies showing that these by-products cause a health risk, their origins are something to consider.

Given that this product is probably not something worn on a day-to-day basis, personally, I wouldn't think twice about it.
