Hello Kitty is a brand name from "Japan" not China, however, to make it more affordable, they do produce most of their products in China. Which in this case, only the container/brushes are made in China, but the eyeshadows/lip glosses are from Sephora Paris. Rarely, is there ever a case, wear the makeups are made in China, usually only the "containers" in which the makeups are impacted in are.

I bought this for my daughter (18) she loves it. Looked on bottom for you... Says, by Sephora, Paris, made in China...most Hello kitty products are made in China though. Im pretty sure Hello Kitty was originated in China. Hope this helps.

It is really big, much bigger than even the measurement might make you think at 9 x 7.5 inches. It is very impressive looking especially as a gift and especially so at the sale price of 34.00. The box is tin not plastic so it makes a huge statement at that size. I bought two when it was 50 and a third when the price dropped. I am giving 2 as gifts of course. I haven't opened mine yet. I had my husband wrap it up for Christmas for me. :))

Are the colors as vibrant and long lasting as Urban Decay shadows?

I have Urban Decay shadows, most of which are very vibrant buildable colors that last at least 12 hours. I was wondering how vibrant and long lasting is the color for this pallete? especially comparing to UD, or is it just for the cute factor?

No. UD deluxe shadow box that I have, the colors are so intense and vibrant that they can be worn alone, but this HK palette needs primer or the colors are translucent.

yes. this is pigmented. yet i wouldnt say its as good or lasts as long as Urban Decay. UD is one of the best on the market. but it is expensive. so if you are looking for a less expensive alternative. this is one i would go with. it is close to a highend quality

to me, these colors look more vibrant, because in the urban decay naked palette and naked 2 palette, those colors are gorgeus, but are perfect for a smokey eye, so in MY OPINION, this hello kitty palette looks more fun and vibrant

It is good quality and very well pigmented but it doesn't last very long. It'll come off by the end off the day, sometimes half-way through.

I think the eyeshadows are well pigmented. I would definitely recommend using an eyelid primer though just to help the colors pop and last longer.
