How long does this last?

I am trying to purchase a Murad acne set, and looking at the sizes and prices, I just want to spend wisely. These seem so small for all 1 oz, but I am just wondering how long this lasts. I have oily, acne prone skin. And I have tried many things...Murad was recommended to me.

I was a little worried about how long this kit would last. I went away for 2 weeks & still got had enough for another week+ almost a month !!! Like with anything, use small/proper portions. It was DEFINETELY worth the price & very helpful at keeping my oily skin controlled & preventing breakouts. This is a great way to try the Murad line if it's your 1st time without sacrificing your wallet.

It depends on how much product you use and how often you use it. I use my kit 3 times a week and I use about a dime-to-a-quarter of each product. This will probably last me 3 months...if not longer. If you use it daily, it might run out in about a month as some reviews have stated.

I wouldn't recommend using each of the products twice a day as that will just make your skin dry. I would just use the cleanser 2x/day and the rest of the products at night. This will probably last you a month depending on how much you use. I personally only use this 3x/week so it will probably last me at least 3 months.

I wash once a day, have had the kit for about 2 weeks and the wash and toner are about half gone. The lotion is about 1/3 gone and hte mask just barely as I have only used it twice as it recommends 1-2 times a week.

A little product goes a long way, so I don't see why the lotion and wash wouldn't last 6-8 weeks if you wanted it to. The toner is going the fastest for me. Will probably be gone before the others. The clay mask will last quite a while since you won't use it as often, a few months.

I wash my face twice a day as well. I use the cleanser and lotion twice a day. I use the toner on my t-zone about every 2 or 3 days. I use the mask twice a week. My cleanser amount is the lowest and my mask amount the highest, which makes sense. I do have product left in all 4, and I am a few days away from hitting the 6 week mark!

I would guess around two weeks. The only thing that did not last me two weeks was the toner as it is liquid and goes fast when put on a cotton ball.

I don't have acne either. I use this to prevent breakouts and decrease the number of blackheads. This works wonders. Use it about 3 times a week and you should be good to go.

No, it doesn't exfoliate. If you want an exfoliating cleanser, I'd recommend Murad's AHA/BHA exfoliator.

I would consider my skin somewhat sensitive. I was hesitant at first to try Murad because I heard it could be harsh. ( have already tried the REN clear-calm and Body Shop tea tree lines). I can have some redness and I have an oily t-zone. This set did not irritate my skin. Actually, it makes my skin feel pretty good!

It means the product itself doesn't contain phthalates, even if the container does. And chemicals usually only leach though plastic if it's kept at a high temperature.

I wouldn't recommend that. Retinol (in the lotion) will start to break down in the sunlight so it wouldn't be useful.
