Definately! The burgundy and pink tones are very flattering on darker skin. The product feels creamy and is very blendable. Use a fan brush to apply on the face, an eyeshadow brush on the eyes. Blend on face with a flocked sponge.

I am a dark skinned black woman and this Blush works really great for me. It blends in the skin really nicely just leaving the right amount of shimmer and soft glow to the cheekbones. You can amp up the intensity of your blush easily with this complex blend. Plus with the blend of dark, medium, and light colors, the end effect stands out beautifully making just the right statement on our beautiful Black skin!

Yes. As a matter of fact, I thought it might be too deep for fair skin. Try the lipstick, too. It's fabulous

This product is oil free and when I reviewed it, I found that it not only goes great with Laura Mercier under cover, it goes fabulous with Nars Cococabana, it also goes great with Josie Maran's illuminizer. I also use Bare Minerals all over face color in natural and Glee over the blush, and it gives the blush more sparkle. I would even try this blush, going by one paticular square as an eyeshadow. I also tried it with Pinks, light browns, burgandys, and light champagne colored eye shadows. This blush is extremely versatile and very beautiful!!

Its a mix of plums and purpley pink hues. Its suppose to be universally flattering just like the lipstick. I love it! Its very versatile.

This is supposed to be more of a wine color then a biege, I think. However, on my fair skin, it looks a lot like bronzer. You might like this product if you are looking for something in a beige. It is so dark on me, I only plan on wearing it on date nights. It's a bit much for everyday.

Question
compare to Bobbi Brown brick shimmer
Has anyone compared this to Clinique's Black honey shimmer tones powder to the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick rose and, if so, which is pinkier or better for 50 year old fair woman. I'd like chic glimmer, not glitz glimmer

I am a big fan of BB, but the Clinique product has less shimmer and, in my opinion, is more flattering. I have never been able to buy a BB Shimmer Brick because every time I try, I can't get past what I believe is heavy shimmer. I have tried almost every color and I think BB is too glitzy. Go with Clinique.

I've used both, and this one is by far the less shimmery of the two. I'm 36, and don't like gaudy shimmer either. It's hard finding a good blush for really fair skin that doesn't look to shiny or harsh, but this one fits the bill quite well. If you use a setting powder, that will get rid of almost all the shimmer from this product. After using my mineral veil from BE, I was left with just a hint of glow on my cheeks - nothing that would stand out or look overdone.

I think the color is too intense for an all over face glow. I have medium toned skin, though.

It must be done carefully ,using three different brushes, one blush brush must be small ,one med,one kabuki . The lighter pinks ,use the small brush to go all over ,lightly, otherwise you get too much pigment on a bigger brush. Play with it. Use the darker in the hollows of your cheek, middle color on cheeks, light all over.
