Does the Hand Food Hand Cream smell like the Righteous Body Butter? I LOVE the smell, but my local Sephora doesn't carry the Soap and Glory products, so I couldn't check it out in the store. Thanks!!

I can't tell you for sure if it smells just like Righteous Body Better, I can tell you that it smells AMAZING! It smells like the freshest, cleanest shampoo-- that's the best way I can explain it. Kinda floral, kinda fresh, 100% delicious. If that's how you would describe the body butter, maybe they're similar?

It smells like self tanner. I should have listened to the other reviews on this site saying it smelled like old ladies perfume. If it didn't say it had Marshmallow and Macadamia on the bottle, those two scents would be furthest from my mind. I don't smell either scent in this cream. It doesn't even smell sweet!!

Yes, they are both made with S&G's Original Pink fragrance. If you ask me, the handcream is a tad lighter and sweeter of a smell!

This smells almost just like the righteous body butter. The only difference is that the hand food seems slightly more subdued. The scent is pretty much identical, but I prefer the lightness of the hand food.

My hands are extremely dry and I use regular body lotion by Olay on them daily but I'm thinking I need something more for my hands, will this work better than your average body lotion? Thanks!

I definitely think that this product is better than the average lotion or hand cream. My hands tend to crack or dry out easily from the constant handwashing I do with working with kids, but this formula seems to relieve my skin immediately. It sells in two different sizes, you should try the small one (I don't think you will be disappointed). :0)

I have EXTREMELY dry hands because (1) I don't drink as much water as I should and (2) I'm a germ-o-phob that I overwash my hands. I think this product works wonderfully, especially when you use it right before bed so it can work while you're sleeping and you're not touching things or washing your hands. It works great for me so far :)

Yes, it will!
Body lotions are simply not formulated especially for the delicate skin on hands the way hand creams are. Body lotions are generally thinner and don't contain as many moisturizing agents. They also tend to have more water in them than hand creams, which contain more oil. If you have super dry hands, I would certainly advise you to use a true hand cream rather than body lotion.
In addition, Hand Food by Soap & Glory is a great choice! It's thick, effective, and smells great :)

Is it waterproof ?

Wash my hands frequently during the day. My hands are dry, chapped, sore and cracked. Need a hand cream that doesn't wash away first time I wash my hands. Cannot reapply during the day so must be long lasting.

I wouldn't say this is long lasting. I dunk my hands in water all day (washing dishes) and this stuff goes away after maybe 2 washings.

I do have dry hands and have excema as well. Although I like how it feels going on it is not hydrating enough for me. I would suggest L'occitaine. That lotion is wonderful and lasts past a hand washing.

It sinks in quickly so washing your hand shouldn't be a problem. I had super dry hands and after a few days of using this once per day my hands are very soft. I would definitely give it a try :) I bet you won't regret it

If there are Sephora in Canada, this probably will be there. You can find the smaller bottle in the checkout line in the little bins that they have in the front. You can always ask the people at the store or order it online. It is simply amazing! You must try it!

This cream has a light, slightly perfume-y scent in a sweet, candy-like air. It is not floral-y in an old-lady way - it is a feminine scent. It is not overly strong, and the scent dissipates rather quickly. I actually wipe any excess from my hands n to my face, so you know it's not overpowering and does not cause irritation.
