In stores now! I follow Soap & Glory on fb, and I know some women in really rural areas have trouble getting Soap & Glory near them, and unfortunately the Sephoras inside J.C. Pennys don't carry it. I guess there's always online shopping!

Question
Same smell
Does this bottle have the same smell and consistency as the one in the pink tub? Or is there a difference because they are both named the same.

Yes it has the same awesome smell, no they arent the exact same. The tub is more of a butter (thicker, richer) and this is the lotion version of it! Just as moisturizing IMHO and you get way more for your moneys worth with the lotion!!!

Different consistency same AMAZING smell!! This one is thinner and absorbs faster. I use this throughout the day after washing hands, doing dishes, and such. I use the butter in the tub right after bathing, shaving, ect.

Same scent, different consistency. Lotion is lighter in texture and I find it lighter in scent too. Lotion gets my vote over butter, having tried both.

THIS IS THIN LOTION. It sinks in well but not exceptionally. It is VERY fragrant! Watch out! The smell is delicious but like suddenly being thrust into an orchard with all the fruits overripe. If you like that, you will love this. If not, RUN! I imagine allergy-sufferers would despise being near it. I like the fragrance once it dies down but it is still VERY STRONG. Word to the wise!

I think you will like this lotion because the scent does not fade away it dries up so nicely on your body and its not sticky or oily, i love using it for the same reasons, give it a try and you'll be hooked

Not at all, it's very rich and creamy but it does leave your skin with a light scent. However if you like lotions that feel like they don't "linger" this is definitely not for you.

There is no residue but I wouldn't say the scent is light. It's pleasant and "clean" smelling but if I use this I don't wear a fragrance. I'm a nurse so I work closely with people so maybe it wouldn't be an issue for others.

It does sink in immediately and does not leave a residue. The sent is strong when you are applying the lotion, but after a minute or two it fades to a light pleasing scent.

I feel like it is really heavily scented, however other people have had different opinions. It reminded me of when you see a dark scented perfume on your grandma's dresser and smell it and have a headache for the rest of the day...that being said, it has had really good reviews from other people, so maybe I'm the odd man out. It just REALLY was not for me. It did feel nice on the skin, though!

Question
compare to body butter
I received a sample of the body butter and LOVE it! At first the scent was a litte much, but it faded to be more subtle. The thing I Love most is the texture it leaves my skin. It is really like "velvet"...sooo soft. I was wondering if the "lotion" was the same esp. interms of texture it left? I wasnt sure if the butter may be too heavy going into summer?

The butter is definitely too heavy for summertime use IMHO! I love the butter in the winter time, but have purchased the lotion form of it ever since! The scent is the same (love it!!!) and with the lotion you get way more for your money!!

If you don't have dry skin in general then this will work great for summer. However if you tend to have dry flaky legs and such then I say stick with butter in the jar. Also if you happen to have dry flakies in the summer try flake away...AMAZING!!! Both have the same smell and do leave that velvety smooth skin, although the butter jar leaves velvety smoothness for longer. I use this throughout the day after washing hands, doing dishes, and such. I use the butter in the tub right after bathing, shaving, ect. all year long.

I have both and prefer the lotion. The scent is the same, but found the lotion a bit more lightly scented which I prefer. The butter is a bit strong on application scent wise but does fade as you said. I live in the tropics and use the butter at night. It would probably be fine for day as its not that heavy, but I just prefer the lotion overall.

The lotion is lighter (perfect for summer) but gives a great amount of hydration. I use the lotion during the day & heavier cream overnight. In the hot Texas weather I can't stand heavy lotions that sit on top of the skin and seem to run down your legs, this product definitely doesn't do that!

The same as the sample. The lotion is so worth it. I haven't tried to body butter, but the lotion would be great for summer (and all seasons).

I would imagine that creams in tubs would always be a thicker consistency, but The Righteous Butter Lotion is plenty hydrating! Go ahead and give it a try! I myself prefer things with a dispenser pump, that way I'm not cross-contaminating the rest of my product by touching the entire tub, but at least it's easier to scrape the last few remnants out of a tub- not so much with a pump!

THIS IS NOT BODY BUTTER. The name is completely misleading. For me, I wanted a rich butter, loving luxurious products. so I was disappointed. NO, THIS IS THIN LOTION. It is VERY fragrant too. The smell is good but like suddenly being in an orchard with all the fruits ripe. If you like that, you will love this. If not, RUN! My husband endures it nightly, poor man. It is kind of like Hawaii, so we think of it that way, LOL. It is VERY strong. All the best!

This is the LOTION version-- the one in the jar is more like a butter, it's thicker and richer. Honestly, I started with the butter in a jar first and converted to the lotion because you get way more for your money and the lotion is just as good as the butter IMHO.

No the jar is a butter that is much thicker. I use the jar right after bathing, shaving, ect. The lotion is thinner and absorbs faster. I use this throughout the day after washing hands, doing dishes, and such. I love having both, however if price is a concern you could pick either one based on your needs.

No. I've tried both, the lotion and the body butter. The lotion doesn't smell quite as strongly; it's also not as heavy as the butter, but it moisturizes quite well. I love using the lotion on a regular, daily basis, especially in winter. The body butter is a lot heavier, so I use it less frequently. It works very well on extremely dry skin--I use it on my feet--but I think the smell is too strong for use on a regular basis.
