Question
Is this cream to powder foundation or just pressed powder?

It's not a cream. It's a pressed powder. In my experience, it does not go on powdery. It goes on really smoothly, and you can build it up. I use a foundation primer and liquid concealer as needed, followed by the Koh Gen Do Triple Lighting Foundation. I usually dust a bit of translucent powder over my face with a kabuki brush to blend in the areas where I built up the foundation. Hope this helps!

It's powder, but you can build as much layering as you like. I find a tinted moisterizer and this powder keeps going all day, even on 11- or 12- hour workdays.

it's not a cream to powder; it's not even really a powder. It's just magical stuff. It's airy light, yet it covers.

This isn't a cream to powder foundation. It's mineral powder foundation in a powder form. For coverage you should use the sponge that comes with it to press it into the skin.

This is pressed powder with medium coverage. I bought it as a foundation but it is better as a touch-up powder.

You order them separately. I only ordered the powder and sponge alone, as I don't take a compact in my purse or briefcase.

not sure: I think it comes separately and you have to buy the compact. I already have two compacts because I won't be without this product. You'd need to call

You probably don't *need* a finishing powder over the Koh Gen Do Triple Lighting Foundation, but I do usually use one. Just a bit. I dust some Laura Mercier translucent powder over my face (with a kabuki brush) to make sure I blend any place where I built up the foundation more than other places.

I don't think you need any powder to finish this, as it is a powder. You could use highlighting powder if you want, fluffing highlights on top of it.

You can use it as a setting powder if you like more coverage than what you have for coverage with your cream or liquid foundation.
I apply it with a brush after my foundation!

Coverage
Does this powder foundation highlight dry, flaky spots? What kind of coverage does it have?

This powder does not highlight dry spots when applied with a brush (I like the Hourglass retractable foundation brush). The coverage
is light to medium (definitely not full) and I usually use it for touch ups over my liquid foundation (either KGD or By Terry). I haven't worn it on its own but imagine it would be ideal for someone seeking refinement and very light coverage.

When I have a dry patch from winter or acne, this foundation still covers nicely without looking flaky or cake-y. It has not dried out my skin at all, even in winter. I've been using it for about 4 or 5 months and absolutely love it. It's my current favorite foundation. My 17-yr-old daughter even started using it, and she loves it, too. So it's been great for her young skin and my slightly older skin!

Just like the BE1 in the Aqua Foundation, this is an ochre tone that neutralizes all the redness in the skin. It's perfect for those who have a fair share of redness or rosacea.

If you're fair with neutral/warm undertones I would try the OC-1 foundation. I use PK-1 which I thought may be way too pink for me but it matches my skintone prefectly.

OC-1 is a bit more peach in tone than BE-1, which I would classify as more yellow/golden. I am a NC 20-25 in the winter and prefer the BE-1 for its undertone!

Question
Best shade for Fair skin, blue eyes?
I am not sure which is best for me. I am tan now, but come winter my tan will fade. I have some pink undertones (I think) but I battle redness with breakouts occasionally, so i am wondering if the BE-1 might be better than the PK-1??? I may need to make a trip to the mall and test them before I make the investment, but enjoy your online shopping a lot! :)

Question
How yellow are 0C-1 and 0C-2 ? How pink is PK-1 ?
After reading the reviews, I still can't decide on a color! I hate foundations with too much pink in them ( they're aging) but if you warm it up too much you can look yellow... My skin tone is light/medium and neutral because I'm half Italian and half Irish. If the PK-1 is a perfect beige, then that would be right...but, if the 0C-1 is just a little warm then that would be right...What's a girl to do??

Question
caramel complexion...is this right for me ???
I'm a light/medium complected woman of color and am very much intrigued by this product. I see they have added two darker tones for women of color and so far looking at the color swatches have chosen br-1 as my correct shade. I would like to know the.ingredients of this foundation. I try to stay away from putting talc on my face do that would definitely sway my decision on purchasing this. Any help ? Also if anyone has a picture of the actual shades that would be of tremendous help as sometimes the samples online are a bit off. Thx in advance.
