it seems that it works great under the eyes (after putting on eye cream) for the 40 to 50 age group. the younger ones seem to say no.

I am young and bought this specifically for my dark circles. crease, crease crease. It settled into lines I didn't know existed! I suggest the "Radiant Creamy Concealer" which is a liquid concealer from Nars!

As far as I can tell, the product is almost exactly the same as the one in the lipstick bullet (the new one is MAYBE a touch creamier) but the colors and the coverage should not have changed.

I bought the Custard color when it was in the lipstick-tube size, and the color is the exact same now that it's in a different tube shape/size.

The formula seems to be the same, if not better. Not sure on the shades as I chose a different shade to match my tan.

This should last you about 3-6 months depending on the severity of your acne/trouble spots. The actual product inside it about to amout of Chap-stick you get in a tube. The good thing is that it does come in the click up stick, making in easier to get every last bit. But honestly, I really didnt like this concealer at all for acne (why I bought it as well). I would suggest Laura Mercier Cover Pot instead. Hope this helps!

Question
What type of skin color is it for?
I'm very pale skin colored and I'm used to using powder, is this a better replacement because my powder wears off during the day? Does it do the same thing?

It wud stay longer than the powder but its kinda drying so if ur skin isn't moisturized it won't look as good and depending on wrinkles and stuff it might even crack. Hydration is the key for the best application when it comes to this concealer. Hope this helps a bit :)

powder and concealer are completely different things. concealers are used to conceal darker spots and acne on the skin to make it look more flawless, and powder is used to set the makeup. if you're looking for a fuller coverage, then you should use both concealer and a colored powder, but if you aren't, just try to find a nicer powder. if you're considering the nars concealer you will need to set it with a powder after you apply the concealer.
hope this helps! xoxo

its always better to use a cream concealer as compared to a powder one. it lasts all day and gives better coverage. as for setting into fine lines, if you set your cream concealer with a face powder that wont happen.
hope this helped

I would probably suggest "Custard" because it is pretty yellow-based, and I use it in the summer on my tan skin to correct any redness. Hope this helps!

Chantilly if you want a more lighter brightening concealer. Pear will also look great, either of those will look really nice.

The best way to find out which shade will work best is to go directly to the Nars website and look up your current foundation shade. The website will show you recommendations on the bottom of the screen and in that list you will see the concealer that will work best with your foundation shade. That's how I found the shade of concealer that I use and it was very accurate.

Question
How can I apply it so it covers my dark circles?
Okay, I apply this product with a concealer brush over my dark circles (which aren't super-dark), and it doesn't have that good of coverage over them, but covers just fine everywhere else! Is there a method that would work?

Because this product isn't in a liquidy creamy form, I would skip using the concealer brush. Instead, I would apply the concealer directly onto my undereyes and dap lightly with my fingers to blend.

try applying the concealer without a brush. instead, dap it with your fingers until it blends nicely. you could be taking too much product off with the brush.

Question
When you use it over foudation, should you put your powder over it? I doon't want to draw any attention to my under eye wrinkles, they aren't bad but
to me they stick out like a sore thumb, because I have botox on my forhead and the rest of my skin is just naturally very smooth? I have very fair skin and dry with an oily t-zone. But sometimes my dry skin also shows throgh my make up no matter how much moisterizer I use. You would not believe how many different types of foundation I have in my drawer to try to find one that would not show flaky skin, just mostly on my forhead and sometimes around my mouth. I have moisturized since I was 14. Sorry, I guess I had 2 questions but it was for the same reason. Sometimes the concealer, base and then powder under eye or even just concealer would look dried out. And I have very nice skin, so must of the time I just go without base, but I don't want to have to especially the older I get. I don't feel completely put together. Thank you

I apply this over my foundation but I do not suggest using this as an under-eye concealer. The Nars creamy radiant concealer works better for that area.

You should dust on some loose setting powder on top of your foundation and concealer. Try MUFE's HD Setting Powder, or Laura Mercier's loose powder. It doesn't have any colour so it won't draw unnecessary attention to your problem areas. :)
