I think it would be best to use on dry hair, I applied it to treatment to my scalp and massaged it in, then I put the conditioner-like treatment from root to tips and covered with the hat provided and sat under the dryer for 30 minutes. In my opinion this is best done when your hair is dry.

I would not recommend applying this to wet hair. It would probably be a drippy mess if you did.

if your hair is short(-6") m/b 3-4 use
12" or less 3 uses but it all depends on how you use it. put the oil on you scalp not your hand massage it and pull it down your ends. section your hair in 4. put the smoothie on your hair in small sections.than twist or braid your sections(the 4) as you go. put on a cap and sit under a dryer for 30-45 mins. i just leave in on my hair for 2 hours or sleep in it

It all depends on the length of your hair, my hair is short, so I was able to give myself two treatments. The best method is to sit under a hooded dryer for thirty minutes.

I am caucasian, with color treated hair. I ordered this to try as a leave in conditioning treatment. Upon opening it today and reading the box, I had a feeling it was solely for ethnic hair. I phoned Sephora and they confirmed it was, however, I should be able to use it.

I am a black woman with natural hair, no relaxer and I use this product for pre poo before I shampoo or cowash. It is a good product for transitioning from relaxed to natural and for woman with color treated hair to help moisturize. I would believe this product is for all hair types.

Can this product be used on permed hair?

I naturally have very dry, coarse hair, and I get it permed twice a year. This last perm literally DESTROYED my hair. I am wondering if I can use this product on my permed hair to restore the moisture, shine and curl or if it will destroy the perm altogether.

I am white and don't have extreme dryness or damage. I used it and it had a great effect on my hair. If your hair isn't that dry you may want to shampoo twice instead of once.

The words that come to my mind are "herbal," "earthy," and a little "masculine." A Sephora SA told me that some people don't like it because they think it has a medicinal odor. Personally, I love the way it smells, way better than the Black Vanilla and WAY, WAY better than the Tui (ugh!). I think the Khoret must work well with my body chemistry because I've gotten lots of compliments. But I can totally understand why someone might not care for the scent. It is not your typical conditioner scent.

A great way to treat dry scalp is to use peppermint or tea tree oil with a sulfate free shampoo and then a deep conditioner.

For dry scalp you should grease her scalp - you can google how to do it. Its basically taking a creamy leave in conditioner, parting your hair in various parts of your hair and applying the conditioner onto the scalp and then massaging it in. For shampoo build-up there are clarifying shampoos for that. This olive oil infusion kit should help the dry scalp
