Fresh Seaberry Restorative Body Cream

What it is: An ultra-hydrating and nourishing treatment for dry skin. What it does:Rich with omegas 3,6, 7, and 9, this moisturizing formula hydrates and nourishes extra dry skin, calming and relieving irritation. Fortified with seaberry oil, also known as seabuckthorn oil, cranberry seed oil, and sal seed butter, these ingredients help to restore, protect, and soften the skin. Vitamin E also works to maintain the skin's elasticity and smoothness while apricot kernel seed oil and jojoba seed oil help to hydrate and nourish. Sea lavender further helps soothe and calm dry skin. Its creamy rich texture offers a luxurious experience. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens- Sulfates- Synthetic Fragrances- Synthetic Dyes- Phthalates- GMOs- TriclosanWhat else you need to know: While Fresh has used seaberry oil in small doses in existing skincare products, the Seaberry Bodycare Collection marks the first time anyone has been able to introduce the ingredient in a highly concentrated form. One of the major challenges of doing so is the oil's strong and specific odor as well as its bright orange color that can literally tint the skin. After a long process using the advanced technology available to Fresh, Co-founder Lev Glazman discovered a way to filtrate the oil's color so it would not stain the skin, and he created a unique natural fragrance that not only neutralizes the oil's odor but is positively addictive.Research results: Seaberry Restorative Body Cream is proven to have a significant moisturizing effect 24 hours after initial application.

Fragrance of the Body Lotion is a slight lemony/herbal scent. Smells comforting and refreshing at the same time. Fresh's fragrances are natural and well designed.

There is a soft citrus floral scent to this lotion, it's lovely and layers very well with the Fresh Sugar Lemon perfume.

Rosemary with a bit of mint. Very fresh, not too heavy. Botanical - almost like a garden. My idea of heaven!

I suspect no one has answered your question because the smell is odd. Not like anything you've smelled before but somehow light and berry like. I think there's some peppermint in it too as it cools your skin once applied.

The primary fragrance I pick up on is Lavendar, but there's an undertone of an herb and sort of mineral, ocean sort of smell. It's definately a bit different, but pleasant. And the fragrance doesn't last. I put it on in the morning and after 10 minutes spritz my perfume on and there's no hint of the lotion left.

It's a little bit citrusy yet kind of warm. I don't find it overwhelming I guess it would depend on your taste though. I would prefer it not be scented but the smell fades quickly if you were looking to wear something else with it. Definitely not a deal breaker.

Check out the ingredient listing on the website. I like that this product has natural nutritional ingredients for the skin like: Beeswax, Jojoba oil, Squalane (very good for the skin), Omega 3,6,7,9 (good fatty acids for the skin) and especially the Seaberry Oil (like Seabuckthorn Oil) which has amazing healing and rejuvenating properties. Quick comment to Sephora: Please bring back your Fresh Creme Ancient and Oil Elixer back to your walk in stores... they are amazing products!
