I wanted to have some glow at times. I bought this and would I wear this over make-up or on moistureized skin w/o make-up and on the body?

I wear it over moisturiser and primer. You could mix in a dab with your regulr foundation as well.

I mix mine with my foundation (in my hand before applying, not in the bottle itself) and it works great. I do recommend setting it with a translucent powder though.

Wear it on your body, not your face. Put all over legs, shoulders, collar bones, arms, etc. Over moisturizer is better, like a simple body moisturizer. That way it feels softer and stays on longer :)

You can wear this all over your body but I would moisturize first. Same with your face. If you wear foundation I would either mix this in with the foundation or put it on after the foundation and before blush or powder. I think you will be very pleased with this product. I really like it.

With this bronzer, a tiny amount goes a long way. I have worn it with and without makeup. It just depends on the look you want. It can gush out of the tube, so for easier control, I dab a drop on my ring fingers, rub together, and gently dab along cheekbones, hairline, and bridge of the nose. If I want more drama, it is the last thing I put on after my blush. If I want a simple, natural glow that says "I'm awake", I dab a little bit on after I moisturize, curl my lashes, and go!

Question
Is it better to put on or over foundation? If you put it under makeup won't the makeup hide the bronzer?

Sometimes to add a bit of sparkle to my face, I mix this in with my foundation and what it produces is a gentle glow. If I want more of an effect I'll add extra on my cheekbones after but if you want a more dramatic look, I'd suggest applying after the foundation!

it really depends how much you put into your foundation when you mix it. I usually put a dime size onto the outer side of my hand and spread the bronzer and then add a couple pumps of either my bb cream or foundation.
If you want the bronzer to be more obvious you'd probably want more than a dime size but this product can squirt all over with a light squeeze so watch out..its beautiful though.

I do not use foundation with a liquid bronzer instead I use liquid bronzer as foundation for my regular bronzer or powder. Foundations most times are hard to match and almost enhances flaws in the skin instead of concealing them.

Question
thin foundation?
I wear a pretty sheer foundation and was wondering if mixing this would make it thinner? i have mixed it with NARS illuminators, but they are so expensive that I was thinking about trying this out and saving NARS for special occasions or highlighting only.

This is almost exactly as good as NARS, but much less expensive. In fact, I'd say it was a bit more sheer, which I personally prefer.

Question
Does "Shimmery" Mean Glittery?
Is this product glittery? I'm looking for something like Lorac's TANtalizer *without* a gold sheen that makes me look like an Oscar statue.

Not glittery.. I like it OVER foundation. It does look VERY shimmery when first applied, but then looks more of a natural and healthy glow.

No, it is very shimmery, like a shiny gold paint. However, there are no glittery chunks.

No, it's a shimmer.. and it truly glows on your skin. I suggest wearing under foundation and/or mixing a light amount in to your foundation.. wearing it on it's own looks great but, it's a tad too much.

Question
Does anyone know if this will look good against dark skin?
Since the review section for this product doesn't let you break it down by skin tone. I need some help. Most of the reviews I've found on google, are done by reviewers with light skin tones. Is this a universally flattering product? Thanks!

it works well on dark skin. I must say that it is a lot of glitter. This is not something I would not recommend to put on face. I put it on my body and i get all sparkly. And it transfers easily. My car seat was filled with glitter wen i got up.

I have a medium skin tone and I tan really easily. I found that it didn't add any colour, but it did make my skin look really dewy and healthy. I liked it a lot but found it wasn't that great to layer with perfumes. The scent is nice but strong and doesn't really layer that well.

do NOT try to wear light clothing with this product on! it absolutely will destroy your dress. i would suggest trying the pacifica lotion with crushed pearl instead. it didn't transfer off much at all but delivered a more intense shimmer and but washed off my hands easily after application.

I have acne-prone skin too. I read all the ingredients and it is oil-free as well. I have purchased with the intent of probably mixing with a foundation in winter cause I am so pale.
I'll keep you posted. but, I would not use it if you have "active" acne.

I suggest not using this on your face, maybe on your cheekbones to add a little bit of a glow. And NO do not use this on acne. You don't want to take any risks. This has alot of shimmer so I wouldn't use it on my face at all.

Question
How does this photograph?
I was wondering how well this shows up in photographs...does it retain it's bronze look or does it reflect too much light? Hoping to add this to my foundation while i'm in Jamaica to extend the look of my spray-tan. Thanks!
