Today is Aug. 18 and my local Sephora store has both shades in stock (the person I spoke w/ on the phone said they got them a week or two ago -- right around the time I rec'd my email from Sephora telling me it was available online). I'm going to check it out today.

I called my two local dept. stores (Belk and Dillard's) yesterday. Neither have ever heard of the product. I did see it on Macy's site, though. I don't know whether it's in their stores yet.

compare to Dr Jardt?

I loved the Dr. Jardt BB cream- melted right into the skin, took care of my redness, and kept me looking dewy and totally polished even after a 15 hour day. However I returned it in hopes of finding a BB cream that had less pink tones in it. Does this clinque one do all of the above?

I tried & loved the Dr. Jart BB Cream too, but the universal color was too light for my complexion. So, I tried out a few others and the Clinique BB Cream performed just as well as the Dr. Jart but the color match was better for my complexion and it's also less expensive. An all around win in my book! Shades 02 and 03 have more golden/neutral undertones so one of those may work for you. Shade 01 has pink undertones, which is what you don't want.

Not pink at all in tone.. I used shade 1, and it totally washed me out (kind of reminded me of someone lying in state, actually). I would have preferred it if it had pink undertones..

I used the Dr. Jart one as well, I love this one so much more! I recommend getting a sample and trying it out, both shades worked well on my skin, I am fairly yellow toned but ended up getting 01.

BB cream became very popular in South Korea couple years ago.
It was first used by celebrities for natural, make-up free look.
Germany brands, Alex and Schramack, were one of the earlier product. And soon after all major make-up brands came out with their own BBs.

BB stands for “Blemish Balm", but in the US it has been translated as "Beauty Balm". In Asia they use "Blemish" because, for them, a blemish is any imperfection on the skin, from a brown spot to an acne breakout.
They are thick tinted moisturizer, but they contain additional beneficial ingredients like antioxidants or skin-lightening agents, that usually here in the US we don't find in tinted moisturizers. I believe they cover a bit more and they are less watery and lotion-like, they should be more like a cream consistency. I am very curios to try it out, in Asia women are loving these BB creams.

Will this product work with cool undertones?

I am very fair and have blue/purple undertones. Will this product work well with my skin tone? I have Dr.Jart's BB cream and I like it but it breaks me out and I thought I would see if this would work well with my skin tone. I would have to have shade 1 and I wondered if anyone else has cool undertones and had this product work for them.

I have cool undertones that sound similar to yours and this BB cream has worked really well for my skin. I am extremely prone to breakouts and absolutely nothing from this. In fact, my skin seems to even look better, especially with how drying acne products are this really helps put some moisture back in my skin and give it a really nice color. Highly recommended.

Shade 1 should work fine with your skin tone. I am also very pale with blue/purple undertones and it is always hard to find make up that works but shade 1 did.I loved Dr.Jart's BB cream but it broke me out as well. Sadly this BB cream did the same thing so now I am going to try Smashbox's BB cream as it says it is non-acnegenic which is not something the other two stated. Hope this helps.

Shade 1 should be good for you as it is meant very fair to pink undertones. I tried the darker shade, and still found that one to be on the cooler side. My skin is warm, and I didn't find it matched me very well.

I have found that if you set this BB cream with Clinique's "Stay Matte Pressed Powder" it stays much longer than if you were to just wear it by itself. My oily skin tends to wash the BB cream off within a few hours but the powder makes it stay on for at least 7 hours. Which, is long enough for me!

I'm VERY fair with pink undertones and this works very well on me. It's very rare for me to see someone paler than me, haha! If you have neutral or yellow undertones, this may not work.

I have some very dry patches and with my general cleanse and moisture morning routine, this applies very evenly and doesn't' dry my skin out even with powder to set it. I honestly feel like it improves my skins moisture and texture while controlling my oily areas.

I have a bit of dry skin also and do apply a moisturizer in those areas b/4 my BB Cream. Mine is dry around my mouth and nose (age and allergies) so I just put a little on those spots. Hope that helps....

The Boscia BB cream has sparkles (subtle but you see them - I'm not a fan) whereas the Clinique BB cream does not. I have an oily T zone, with Boscia my forehead was shiny after 3 hours. Also, Boscia made the pores on my nose visable once I set with powder. This was not the case with Clinique, my face stayed matte for much longer and my pores weren't noticeable. I'd try to get some samples from Sephora or a dept. store to see which is better for your skin.

I've only tried the Clinique brand, but I've been very happy with it. More impressed that I thought I would be. The only downside is that the shades are very light. I have light skin so it's a fine color 9 months of the year but in the summer it will probably be a little too light even for me.

I tried both, and loved the Boscia texture, but it was too dark for my "fairly light" skin. (I wish they had more than one shade!). The Clinique looked better but felt very heavy on my skin, and was hard to spread to get even coverage.
