Questions & Answers for Korres Wild Rose Mineral Setting Powder

Question
sparkles visible after applying?
A few reviews mentioned sparkles and when I looked at this product in the store, it did seem very sparkly while still in the container so I didn't buy, but the tiny area I dabbed some on didn't appear that way later. Does this dissipate on the face, or is it visible throughout day? I used b.e. Hydrating Mineral Veil before and disliked it for the very reason that the sparkles were too visible for a 40 yr old face.

I only noticed today that it has sparkles! and i have had it for 2 weeks. you can see them maybe the moment if you apply when you get a little heavy handed, as I was this morning. but once it is on, you cant tell at all. and when i wipe it throughout the day with my hand or scarf or something it is never glittery. i put it on my mom who is in her fifties, and she thought it was incredible. hope this helps!

Sparkles are not that visible at all. I found this product doesn't make a difference I usually even forget to put it on it's that forgettable.

No you can't see them, they aren't glitter. It simply makes you look like you have a natural glow and brightens your natural skin tone.

i tend to have combination skin but definitely oilier in the t-zone area, so like u i stay away from overly shiny, sparkly make-up! this does not have ANY sparkle on, it illuminates with no help from shimmer or anything!
so no worries. try it. i also have bare minerals translucent powder and the two in comparison, def this one has a nicer shade but the BM is more refined.

I had the same concern when I opened the product (mail order), but figured I'd give it a try. You don't notice the sparkel at all...not even in the sunlight. Face just looks natural and healthy. My mom who is in her late 60's borrowed some when she stopped by the other day and loved it too.

Question
Comparable to MUFE HD setting powder?
So I have really been wanting to purchase a setting powder lately, something that controls oil, is lightweight etc. I want to know how the two products compare, right now I am thinking of buying the korres product. I'm still not sure though, so any input would be super helpful! Thanks.

I have tried both and I prefer the Korres. MUFE HD shows a white shadow when you have your picture taken

I would go with the Korres! I find it a true blessing for my oily skin, yet doesn't make my skin look flat or cake either. Also, this has vitamin C, and is a much better price. The only downside is the container, which is just dumb. With it closed, tip it upside down and use what's in the lid, leave the sponge right where is- it helps to hold the powder in. You'll love this over the two for oily skin!:)

I have never used Muff, but I have used FX for years. After buying the Korres, I am sticking with the FX. Somehow, it seems to fly off my brush. I get more on my clothes than on my face.

This is nothing like the mufe hd powder. I used to own the hd powder and I hated it! It makes skin ashy looking or grayish. The only setting powder that I found that sets Osborne oil and gives a natural radiance is the Korres setting powers! Not even the mufe nor Laura mericer comes close!

Buy the mufe one. It's a little more expensive but worth the money. The mufe powder is finer and gives a smoother feel

I have used it alone on weekends just to make me look less... not awake... it does make your face look matte and clean, but if you have alot of redness you should put come cover up on those spots first. for day to day i would say you could if you dont have alot of issues with your skin. the way it feels is just incredible though, really worth the price. I would honestly pay 4x what it costs it works that well.

There is hardly any coverage, so I would say only over make-up.

If you want any sort of coverage at all, this is not your powder. It is strictly a setting powder/oil absorber.

I like this powder much more than BE. It has a very slight shimmer which I love and it set your makeup without making you look/feel chalky. I use the setting powder as well as their foundation and would not switch back to BE!
