They are not full-size, but they're a little bigger than what I would consider sample-size. The official product description says "travel-size" and I think that's accurate -- small enough to tuck into a small makeup bag, but not so tiny you feel cheated.

Are these products ok for sometimes acne prone skin?

I break out sometimes, I think mostly due to hormones or stress, so I guess I would say I have mild adult acne. Would any of these products aggrivate it?

I have acne breakouts too, and none of these products have ever caused me to have one. In fact, i feel like its made my skin better, in conjunction with my skin care regimen too. The foundation has buildable coverage and hides my acne scars, making my face look flawless. You should definitely purchase.

I have some adult acne as well and I have NEVER had a problem with this kit causing worse acne for me. If anything it has probably helped me with the acne. The foundation primer is oill free, which is nice. I would just make sure you choose a oil free moistureizer. This really is an amazing kit and I think you would love it.

There should have been directions on the inside flap of the box, but no worries! There are 4 different ways to wear this kit, depending on how much coverage you want and the look you want to achieve.
1. Always apply the foundation primer first (on cleansed and moisturized skin)
2. Apply the concealer (if you need to) from corner to corner UNDER your eye
3. Apply either the liquid foundation and THEN dust the powder on top OR apply only the powder (with your brush) OR apply only the liquid foundation.
You'll get a matte look with the powder and a fresh glowy look with just the liquid :)

What I do is start with the primer first (always start with the primer). Then I use the concealer on any imperfections and under my eyes. Then I take a cosmetic sponge, put some of the liquid foundation on my hand between my thumb and pointer finger and apply the foundation all over my face. After that I'll take my powder brush and apply the powder in a circular motion. To top it off I take a smaller concealer brush and focus on imperfections. Hope I helped you.

In this kit you cannot pick separate color tones. It is sold as a kit depending on the one tone that you choose (i.e. If you select the fair tone, all items will be in fair). Hope that helps.

I am also blonde, fair with blue eyes. I am almost "too fair" as my dad says! ;) I chose the FAIR option. It was close enough. My sister in law and mother who are also fair but different shades chose the same... This matches well with almost any gal who is in the "FAIR" category!
