So far my Special Effects Nails Inc is lasting longer. It's the "Sweets Way" with glitter in it. But I did use OPI's Chip Skip underneath which always makes any polish I try last longer. I don't even use a base coat. The polish I apply at home lasts longer than it does from a salon with their basecoat.
So I guess, my answer is both!

I always have a color on my nails and there is nothing I hate more than chipping nail polish. Needless to say, I am always on the lookout for quality polishes with rich color, luxurious feel, and chip resisting stay power. As much as I love the color palette offered by Nails Inc., the tips are always chipping by the following morning. I do recommend their Kensington Caviar base coat, it's fantastic, but as for their polishes, I prefer Sephora by OPI.

I like OPI, however nails inc. is way better in quality. It does have limited colors, but it goes on smoother, dries faster, and lasts longer than OPI. The bottle is slightly smaller so you don't get as much, but quality is much better. nails inc. is some of the best nail polish I've ever used-and at a cheaper price, might replace my Lippmanns.

IMO they're very close - I don't think you can go wrong either way. Personally, I prefer Nails Inc's thicker formula, but I know some people like a thinner formula. The only thing I *don't* like about Nails Inc is that big clunky cap; it's a little harder to turn the brush while applying. I go with Nails Inc whenever possible, but since Sephora's only carrying a limited selection of their colors, I buy OPI when I can't get Nails Inc in the shade I want. They're both good quality.

I have used OPI and Nails Inc. and find them to be comparable. I would recommend with both, to keep your nails out of the water (washing dishes or soking in the bath) during the first 24 hours or so, to help the polish last longer.

My nails chipped the next day, and that was with a top coat :( I love the color so much though I keep reapplying it. Didn't chip at all on my toes though!

Mine chipped within a few days. I used a top coat but no base coat. The upside is all the colors are REALLY great looking out of the bottle.

Mine (the gold glitter one) only stayed perfect two or three days and that's with a Seche base and topcoat. I'm hard on my nails though.

I got 6 days of wear (I remove my polish after 6 days so don't know if it would've lasted longer) using a base coat and top coat (not the nails inc. brand) and doing 2 coats of color as well as one coat of Electric Lane (the holographic top coat).

Certain U.S. Sephora stores do carry this line but I would recommend calling your local store to see if they have it. I was in two Sephora stores last week and only one out of the two had the full line of shades. The other store had some but there were very few shades to pick from. So definitely call the store first just to make sure that they have the shade that you're looking for.

Yes, but check with your Sephora. I bought mine in Orange County, CA and there were tons of colors. When I went to go buy more at a Sephora closer to where I live they didn't have the line yet:(

Nails Inc. vs Sephora by OPI?
I find the Sephora by OPI to vary in quality in terms of how sheer/pigmented they are, how many coats need to be applied, and how thick/thin the consistency is. Most of these Sephora OPI polishes I own are pretty good to great in quality of formulation. How does Nail Inc rate in these areas? Thanks for your input!

I've tried one of the Nails Inc 3D glitters, their holographic top coat (also a glitter, really), and 2 of their regular polishes. Obviously the glitters require multiple coats since they aren't pure pigment, but I find that the regular polishes are consistently thick and highly pigmented. My thinking is that you could get away with as little as one good thick coat, but I always apply 2 as a general rule anyway. I read somewhere that Nails Inc polishes are "self-evening" and I was impressed to find that to be pretty true - if I accidentally got more on one side of the nail than the other, it all seemed to be a single, even, unified coat by the time it dried. And even the glitters go on nice and thick and seem to distribute evenly across the nail. I would recommend trying one of the Nails Inc to see what you think; I've been extremely impressed.

For the OPI Sephora colors, I usually buy a peachy nude called Soy-Half-Caff (or something like that) and definitely need two coats. This Nails Inc. color, a beige nude called Basil St also definitely required two coats (although I ultimately applied three, since I messed up a nail, then gave all the others another coat while I was at it). The feel is very similar - thick and creamy - although one coat would not have been enough for an opaque color. If you prefer a sheer look, I'm not sure how well this would work, as with one coat, my nails looked streaky (but that could have been user error on my part!).

I recently purchased this nail polish and i absolutely love it. I too, use Opi most of the time but decided to give this one a try. I would have to say that Nails inc, is high pigmented and long lasting. It could stand up to Opi any day. I think both of the brands are great products.

According to http://nottested.co.uk/Cosmetics.html they do not test on animals and their statement on the site is as follows: "We can confirm that we test no product or raw materials on animals. To the best of our knowledge this is also the position of all of our industrial suppliers."

The three new collections--The Donmar, The Wyndham, and The Old Vic--dry like glass. The consistency is thicker than regular polish so be very patient in waiting for them to dry completely before applying the topcoat. The topcoats are beautiful and add dimension to the finished product. I do not recommend the topcoats be used with regular polish. The colored polishes could also stand alone because the colors are so rich and dry to an incredibly glossy shine. These three collections (I bought my fave two colors) are unique and unlike any other polish I have used. Each bottle is full size and totally worth the price! I hope you'll give them a try.

The shade that you wanted probably wasn't one of the shades on sale. As of the time that I'm typing my post, there are three shades on sale: Carnaby Street, Hampstead Gardens, and Old Park Lane. They are offset from the rest of the $9.50 colors.

I tried to do a french manicure with this brand and I don't recommend it- the formula is so thick that depending on what tools/method you are using you'd be better off with another brand.
