Wow no brush. Take it back. My concealer had a wand brush that twisted up a perfect amount to apply.

I had problems at first too. Turn the head; it will click. I recommend four clicks. Give it a minute for the product to show up on the brush or you'll get way more than you want.

you have to keep twisting the top (where the black meets the pinkish/peach color) until the concealer comes out the top or side of the brush.

I am pretty darn pale and I use the lightest one. The employee at Sephora tested a few shades on the back of my hand and the inside of my wrist, so I would recommend going in to a store and actually trying it out.
My skin has some pink and some yellow undertones in it and I think the Vanilla shade blends with it nicely. I felt that the next shade darker was waaaay too pink for my skin tone.
Hope that helps :)

I would say try the lightest color (Radiant Vanilla) because I have light skin most of the year (tan in summer) and the Radiant Peach works good for me.

Question
What is the best way to pick the shade of concealer that you need?
I have heard that you should go a shade darker then your skin tone, is this true? I have red hair, and with it came a farily light skin tone. What would be the best shade for me to use? Mainly want it to cover dark circles under my eyes. Thanks.

Going darker than your skin tone, especially under your eye area where you can get a bluish purple hue, is not the best idea because it can actually accentuate you dark under eye circles. If you do choose to use a darker color, do it under foundation and then top it off with a light concealer such as Sephora's smoothing & brightening concealer and then set with a powder such as Urban Decay's Razor Sharp Finishing powder or Tarte's Smooth Operator finishing powder (my to favs.) hope this helps! =)

I have light skin as well, and I find getting a light concealer covers up dark circles much better. I definately wouldn't go darker, just get one that matches your skin tone best, or maybe a shade lighter. Hope I helped:)

I find that testing it on the back of my hand is the best way. The first tube of concealer I had was a little too light. When I ran out of that, I went into the store and tried several shades on the back of my hand until I found one that blended in the best.

When you first get the tube, you have to turn it about a billion times to get the makeup to start flowing. After that, simply hold the container brush-down and turn.

I had trouble with this at first too. You need to twist the color part of the tube clockwise a few times. If you're opening a new tube, you might have to give it a few more twists.

Twist the black base around and the product oozes out of the brush on the end. For the first use, you need to twist it A LOT. After the product starts to come through, only 1 or 2 clicks is sufficient.

answer 3
You need to twist the end close to the brush tip. Twist it and it clicks, and just keep twisting, like 10 clicks at a time, until the product comes out the first time. It takes a lot of turning, way more than you would expect. After it gets going, the second time and on going you have to twist it like 5 clicks before it will slowly start to come out

number 06 is the safest bet, it is a neutral tone in a light to medium shade, and 07 is a little more tan in color. Go with 06

The Sephora Collection Smoothing and Brightening Concealer is air-vacuumed so you will need to click the pen about 20-30 times before the product comes out. If you're unable to get the concealer to work, call 1-877-SEPHORA to speak with a Beauty Advisor who could better assist you. Thanks!

Depending on your undertones you will either be 02 Radiant Vanilla, 03 Radiant Rose or 05 Radiant Peach. Radiant Vanilla for golden or warmer undertones, 03 Radiant Rose for pink undertones or 05 Radiant Peach if you're mainly using the concealer under your eye area to conceal dark circles. We hope that helps!
