It's a creamy gel. It blends so easily, you can use a tiny amount, and get coverage yet it's matte and moisturizing at same time.

sorta .. like a thin whipped moisturizer, but not out of a can or mousselike container like some... it was in a lotion tube and it is soft and almost velvety.. i could see someone saying mousse-like because it has a sort of whipped texture... i was very impressed with it and plan on ordering it asap... i got as a sample yesterday and love it.... and i dont usually wear foundation, but this was so light and perfect!!!

Yes, it's super smooth. One of the things I don't like about most BB creams or tinted moisturizer is the texture... it's either tacky, heavy, sticky and/or thick. This comes on very thin and light, and is great if you want to do another layer over if you need more coverage.

It did break me out- but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll do the same to you. The best thing to do would be to try it on in-store and see how your skin reacts to it. Of course, if that's not an option you can take advantage of Sephora's great return policy.

No. I was recommended this make-up because my skin was irritated from Bare Minerals. This make-up literally is helping clear up my skin, which is normally flakey in some areas, and oily in others.

I have very sensitive skin with the combination T-zone complexion. This product has not caused my skin to break out and I have been using the product for almost 2 weeks now. It truly is lightweight even though the product has a creamy texture.

Question
Picking a shade in Miracle Skin Transformer
I just got a sample of Miracle Skin Transformer in medium. I wear Cameo in Dior Capture Totale and this looked like a good match, but when applied, it goes on so sheer, I'm thinking I should try a darker shade. Anyone have experience with this?

Remember, this is a tinted moisturizer, not a foundation. It does have a luminizing quality, covering freckles and slight spotting, redness or capiliaries. I love the translucent, but my sample was Medium. I just used it anyway, and it was so blendable, it didn't look fake or feel heavy. You could try the Medium in in areas where you think you need it, with Light in other areas (around eyes, neckline), as it really is so smooth when used and can be reapplied to provide more coverage

I'm typically a "light" in most product, but I found that "Light" in Miracle Skin is a bit too light (not by much). However once I apply Smashbox Halo in "Light", it works perfectly.

answer 4
I think the product is meant to be sheer. I am olive skinned (yellow undertones, but still very fair, the medium is a good match for me. If you consider yourself to be relatively fair-skinned, I wouldn't go any darker. Just use a cover-up on top of this product in trouble areas only or reapply more product where you thinkk you need extra coverage.

I've tried LM several times because I always want to like it, and yet.... On me, I find that while it looks good on in that it covers redness and small discolorations and scars, it ends up looking more "make upy" than I wanted and tends to sit on my face after a few hours. While the coverage isn't by any means heavy, it looks like you have make up. I really like the MST because it looks just like skin. The finish is as close to natural skin as I've ever seen, and while it goes on sheer, it does cover up a surprising number of small flaws. The coverage with the LM is better, but I prefer the MST in the summer for that no-makeup look.
PS. In photographs MST doesn't give off that "white effect" that often happens with products containing sunscreen.

I have not used LM's tinted moisturizer in years, but as I recall it felt more like foundation. This product feels more like whipped, silky air. Very light. It feels like you have nothing on, but redness and uneven tone are perfectly corrected.

I don't find this provides good coverage for blemished skin. It provides a great base to apply mineral foundation, and it evens skin out, but in my opinion does not provide a great deal of coverage.

If you're after tinted moisturiser/BB that provides a reasonable amount of coverage I would recommend Tarte Smooth Operator BB tinted moisturiser, Too Faced BB cream or NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser,

It's a tinted gel that has sunscreen and luminizing properties, so it lightly covers freckles and blurs flaws. It's not as heavy as foundation, yet is matte where I need it in t-zone and moisturizing in dryer areas

It is both a moisturizer and a sunscreen. As to whether you should use it with another moisturizer first, that would depend on the dryness of your skin. If you have oily or normal skin you should be fine with just this product. If you are dry, then I would use a light moisturizer first.

Use under foundation or by itself. I use it under my foundation to even out the color and moisturize. That's because I need foundation. If you just want to moisturize and even out color it is enough by itself. And it feels sooooo yummy going on.

I'm 58, having used this for over a year. I'm on my 3rd tube. It's amazing, doesn't leave dry streaky areas like some moisturizers can. You can layer a vitamin C serum under this in areas where you think you need it, but I don't think you will need to. It really is so smooth and softly blendable. I've never had to reapply due to dryness, even when flying or at the beach in wind/sun/heat.

My mother is sixty. I showed this to her a couple of years ago, and she has been using it since then. She had oily skin even into her fifties, so not many lines, but this smooths her face. She is low maintenance when it comes to make up, but now that she is beginning to show age, she puts on this and a bit of brown mascara before she goes out. She just called me to get her two more tubes, one for home and one for her travel bag.

This is a primer (silicone) with SPF. Makes your make up slip on easier. Not a serum. Perhaps find a serum for nightly use, and use this under your TM or foundation to help make your face very smooth. And exfoliate ....that can make you look older

This is neither a powder nor a liquid foundation. I would classify it as a tinted moisturizer or a primer more than anything. It is much sheerer than foundation, but there is tint to it that's just enough to even out your skintone. The powdery feeling is due to the natural silicones in this product, but it's not a cream-to-powder product.

There is a concealer available that is formulated for the under-eye area. As with any skin care product, I am always very weary on what is OK to put around, or under, the eye area.

The Skin Transformer states it has antioxidants in it; the concealer does not, so that may be the point of contention.
