Does this product fill in large pores as well (i.e. function as a primer), or do i need to put a separate primer on first?

This product is really light, so it doesn't fill in lines or pores. It feels like the product was whipped. I have large pores, and love to use Benefit's Porefessional. Its the best "filler" that helps smooth out the look of your skin.

I have some larger pores and this has the primer built right it. For most days, I don't use a primer. If it is a special occasion, I use a primer first--but for every day use, the primer in this is enough to fill and smooth those larger pores.

Question
Compare to Amazing Cosmetics Concealer - full coverage
My skin is pretty nice, esp now but I do get an occassional red mark and would like to brighten up my undereyes. I use a light foundation only and hate the feeling of make up on my skin. I have tried so many and like the YSL pen but think I need more these day. Is this a heavy full coverage concealer like Amazing Cosmetics concealer (wonderful but really too much for me). Or - is this a medium lighter concealer that will look and feel more natural?

This is a very nice, soft feeling concealer. I loved the Amazing Concealer and was a dedicated consumer of that product. This one is thicker, less watery, but you will probably know it's there at least at first. I would strongly suggest you give it a try and accustom yourself to the feel. You will be glad you did.

This definitely is a more natural looking concealer. I hate looking like I put my makeup on with a spatula, and this does not look that way. I use it not only for an under eye concealer, but also a red spot corrector.

I use just a lil dab under my eyes and it blends well, evens out, brightens, and is extremely light weight.. I love this product and Ive never loved any others like it. I only use a moisturizer as a base.

Its definately a more heavy concealer. I have dark circles under my eyes and it helps but I'm thinking of trying some sort of injection or something. I always look tired

I actually use this concealer in place of foundation. I use it where I need to to even out the red spots, then apply blusher and a bronzer for a very natural effect.

answer 6
If you're looking for a full coverage concealer, this product will not be a good choice. While it's great at smoothing out the eye area, it by no means will conceal everything. I feel it's a more natural look. If you're looking for something to replace Amazing Concealer, I would take a look at the Cover FX concealer. I know it might also around the same price, but you get your money's worth and it's a professional product meaning a lot goes a LONG WAY. Just make sure you're using the proper tools to apply it.

I like to use an undereye moisturizer first, and facial moisturizer first. It helps to prevent the product from falling into pores or lines. Without a layer of moisturizer first, my skin soaks up any moisture in this product or my foundation and makes it look caked on.

I was using MUFE waterproof concealer to hide my acne scars but switched to this. So it is very good coverage, but light as air. I would compare it's consistency to the Perfekt Skin Perfecting Gel (which broke me out terribly). Like a light whipped mousse. It is VERY concentrated, so a little goes a long way, but because it has the built in primer--a tiny dot blends quite far. So it can be light or full coverage, depending on how you use it.

Regarding my own personal morning routine, I do use a toner on my face, and an eye cream, before applying the Miracel Skin Transformer {Tinted Moisturizer} and the Miracle Skin Concealer (primarily just under my eyes...) Hope this answers your question & helps out!

I use this after I've put on my anti-aging serum and both oil-free face moisturizer and my anti-aging eye cream. Just give your moisturizers a minute to be absorbed into your skin and follow with MST Treat and Conceal. It makes a perfect foundation primer - sets your skin for the rest of your applications.

I think the biggest concern for under the eye is the possibility of dryness. I have used it under my eyes, but recommend that if you do, you put on moisturizer first to minimize any possible drying. And make sure to keep it a little below the lash line so that you don't get it in your eyes!

Question
Can you wear under mineral makeup?
It seems like this product might act more like a primer than a concealer. If you need additional coverage, can you wear mineral makeup (like BE bisque concealer) over it without problems? Does it absorb well enough?

I am pretty pale and went for the lightest shade which worked just fine. It blends really well so I would pick the lighter shade if you are between two.

I would actually recommend going into a Sephora location in person & trying to match the color to your skin tone, just to get the correct shade that you need {if at all possible.} The Sephora staff is usually quite helpful & I'm pretty positive would help you pick out the particular shade that you need / would suite you best. I will tell you that the "Light" shade is for very light / fair skin & almost acts like a high-lighter under the eyes. Hope this helps!

I have fair skin with a slight golden undertone to it, and I bought the medium shade. A little goes a long way, so don't over-do it or you'll look "too" made-up. The first time I used it, I didn't realize how much a tiny little bit covers. I use it to cover under eye circles and I ended up looking freakish because I used too much. It's nice to blend with a make up sponge or concealer brush after applying gently with your finger.

I would get the medium shade, my mom's skin is light and the medium shade seems to match her skin perfectly, so if your skin is a little darker, you shouldn't have a problem with this shade either! Hope this helps!
