I would say they are "just perfect" to comfortably apply eye shadow, assuming you are NOT a 6'5" male. Definitely not a sample or a miniature set but also not too big. The crease blender brush is 5.5"- 5.75". The lid/smoker is almost exactly 5.5" and the liner/smudge brush is 5.25. The container is 6" x 1". I love them!!! If you're on the fence, get them. You won't regret it.

Well it depends actually I have seen brushes with REALLY looong handles and are considered full size! HA! HA! I really consider this kind of in the middle. THey have the ability of doing the work of a full size brush but they also have the ability of a compact size brush, meaning you are able to stash it in your purse with out creating a big bulk. The container itself is about 1" in width and about 6" long. The longest brush is about a little less than 6" . I hope that answers your question. GOOD LUCK!

They are inbetween full size and mini brushes. They are quite a bit shorter than my Sigma brushes, but not as small as my Sigma travel brush.

The handles are full size, not travel sized at all. The case that holds all three brushes is about 6-8" long.

The crease/blender brush is 5.5". The lid/smoker is slightly less than 5.5" and the liner/smudger is 5.25". The container is 6" x 1". To give you an idea of proportions; on the crease/blender brush, the pink "handle" part of the brush is almost 3.5", the black part, just before the bristles is 1.5" and the brush itself 0.75".

The tube that they come in is about an 1' wide and about 6" long. NOW the brushes are: the longest is about 53/4" long, and the smallles is about 5" . I REALLY hope this information helped you?!

The crease/blender brush is 6" including bristles ( always call it fur because it's so soft - like mink or bunnies!). The smallest is the liner/smudge at 5 !/4". I don't believe they make longer brushes at this time.

The length of the Crease/Blender brush is just under 6". The Liner/Smudger brush is just over 5" and the Lid/Smoker brush is almost 5.5". Those measurements are from top to bottom including the handle and the brush hair.

These brushes don't have any numbers on them. Not sure if this applies but just for reference, I am a 5'5", 130 lb woman and I find them to be a perfect size to comfortably apply my eyeshadow. However, a 6'5" man with big hands might think they're small. The crease blender brush is 5.5"- 5.75". The lid/smoker is almost exactly 5.5" and the liner/smudge brush is 5.25. The container is 6" x 1". They are really, REALLY soft; good quality and über convenient. If you're on the fence, go ahead and get them — you will NOT regret it.

Absolutely. I stuck a black fineliner marker inside while I was reading your question and it fit perfectly, so another brush should be no problem.

Yes! I love the case, because you can add an extra small brush (or perhaps cram two...) in the case if you need to, like during travel. However, make sure they're not too long, because then it won't work!

liner/smudge brush used as angled liner brush?
i'm new to makeup, can the liner/smudgebrush work as angled liiner?

answer 1
The brush isn't angled, but if you use a gel liner the bristles can kind of be formed into one. It's pretty good for liner, but I regretted trying liner with it because it stained the brush and took away some of the softness even after several washes with my brush cleanser. I would recommend keeping it for smudging under the eyes only :)

On the little instructional "scroll" that comes tucked inside this brush set's container, it states, under Liner/Smudge Brush: "Using shadow, line lids with short feathery strokes or smudge pencils & cremes into lash line with small, circular strokes". Hope this answers your question.

answer 3
I'd say no, just because the smudge brush has a much broader tip and an angled liner has a very fine tip.
The smudge/liner brush is better for a shadow liner, or a smokey liner.
an angled liner brush would be better with gel or liquid liners.
hope I helped.

It works better as a smudger. It isn't stiff enough, in my opinion, to be an effective liner.

Question
Do you need this if you have the other set?
I have the Too Faced Professional Brush set already, and four of those brushes are already specifically/mostly geared towards your eyes. Do I really need to get this set as well? Does it really add to the collection, or are they kind of redundant?

I wouldn't buy this if you already have the other set; some of the brushes look pretty similar to me. This kit is a regular shadow brush, a crease/blending brush, and a smudge brush that, to be honest, I rarely use - I just don't smudge with a brush that much. To me, this seems like an all-you-need kit for applying powder shadows (I'm not sure how well these brushes would pick up cream color, but then I tend to apply creamy formulas with my fingers anyway). It's a great set, but if you already have brushes that do these things, why buy more?
