Clinique products tend to be slightly on the dry side. The foaming cleanser is good for taking off makeup but after awhile if your skin tends to be dry you might find it starts to feel uncomfortably dry. If your skin does tend to be dry all the way around, I would suggest the dry/combination formula. If you have any oiliness, like in the T Zone with dry cheeks, I would try the oily combination formula, but don't give it more than a week. If you find yourself too greasy or too dry take it back, make sure you save the boxes and the receipt, and ask which formula is best. Dry Comination is a good choice. These are full size products at a good price but the cleanser is very drying. My make-up was peeling off. When I stopped using the cleanser and switched to a creamier one, the dryness went away.

If you zoom in on the picture, it shows the Youth Surge and Night product are Dry/Combination.

For my very dry skin, this set seems just right. I am not sure an oily complexion would appreciate the moisturizers quite as much. Older skin does tend to be more on the dry side, particularly after menopause, so I think this may be the targeted demographic. Winter dry skin only might be okay though.
