New formula! This is not like water anymore. It is still a dark brown color, but it is much thicker to pour and works so much better than the old formula!

It is a runny, dark shampoo. I'm not crazy with the consistency, but I do love the results.

I was SO disappointed with the consistency of this product. Reminded me of rusty water, and I'll probably just mix it with a less expensive shampoo, just so I can (a) use it up; and, (b) get it on top of my head without waste! Was VERY disappointed with this shampoo.

See the review I just posted. I gave it 5 stars, but complained about the packaging. The product should be in a container with a much smaller hole--maybe even a bottle that squeezes the product out. Much of it is wasted. I may look for a squeeze bottle to pour it into. You may want to do the same.

No, it is mostly for volume and shine. They have a shampoo that I alternate with this one called Phytodensium that strengthens, and thickens hair. They also have serum, and a mask to go with it.

I'm not sure, but I think it does. I haven't been losing as much hair since I started using this product...maybe it's just a change in hormones. Try it and see.

I'm 56 years old and went through a period about 2-3 years ago where my hair was coming out by the handfuls, or so it seemed. I modified my diet to eliminate dairy, grain, and of course, sugar which helped, but my doctor's opinion was that I had hypothyroidism (common in post-menopausal women). Took natural thyroid supplements for 2 years and the issue was resolved. I use PHYTO, but check with your doctor for other issues.

If you need strengthening, this shampoo is not it...only makes it appear a lot more fuller, but my hair turned out dry. If you have oily hair , I think this would be great.

They make a light weight anti-frizz finishing serum that I love. With that I don't envelope need conditioner and I have long fine bleached streaked hair.

Jump over to the Kronos products! You will just LOVE them, and although I have fine, thin, color treated hair for years, this stuff is AWESOME! Don't know if Sephora carries it or not, but do a search and get yourself some of this stuff! They make products for ALL types of hair and I love their products! The hair masque would work wonders on your dry hair!

I use this product without a conditioner. My hair is very fine and straight and conditioners only weigh it down. After shampooing with Phyto and towel-drying my hair, I comb out the tangles with a very large-toothed comb so as not to damage my hair. After my blow-dry, I have full volume and healthy looking hair.

I too love the Actif spray for adding volume. I also need a lightweight conditioner -- enter Phytomist Color Protect Radiance Mist (leave-in conditioner). The combination is just perfect and all I need. Once in awhile I may use one of their other conditioners.

The Phytodensium mask is what I use with this shampoo and spray. It is safe for color treated hair, and is especially good for fine hair. It can be used on ends for a few minutes as a regular conditioner, or for 20 min all-over the hair as a mask.

I bought the Phyto Phytobaume Conditioner. It seems pretty useless, though. Its more of a liquid balm for your hair. It doesnt really work as a detangler as I wish it would.

I was told by my stylist that this product is not recommended for daily use because the stuff that is in it can cause hair breakage if used regularly on fine hair. I alternate between this and the Phytolisse (Smoothing shampoo) and love it.

YES! I am a 56 year old blonde, so I add highlights to keep my hair from looking drab. This product works great on color-treated hair! Takes all the dryness out but doesn't leave my hair limp. My hair is the healthiest it's been in ages since using Phyto!
