Can this be used as a contour color?

Absolutely. If youre like me (light-medium NC20-25) and find that all the bronzers out there tend to be way too harsh, orangey or red to be used for contouring then this one is THE one. I only use bronzers to contour because Ive got inexistant cheekbones and the hoola bronzer definitely helps me to achieve a more defined face!

This is actually the MOST perfect contour color because it has no shimmers so it can be used on the temples, forehead and jaw line as well as under the cheekbones.

Yes, this makes a wonderful contouring powder. I myself have fair skin, brown eyes and brown hair. I use it on my forehead, and to contour my cheeks. I even use it as blush and it looks fabulous! As always, technique is of paramount importance so the contouring looks real, not like your face has a lot of dirty spots.

Yes! I have very sensitive Acne prone skin and have been using this product for years but unfortunately figured out that its a big source of breakouts for me :(. Love the product but I'll only be using it as an eyeshadow from now on. I found a pretty comparable dupe from the drugstore that works for me though. It's NYC "sunny"

YES! I have extremely sensitive skin, and this product definitely breaks me out. I know it is this product because my acne is always active when i use it, and only where apply the bronzer. It could just be my skin, since NARS blush also makes me break out. However, I would consider it to be comedogenic.

Yes, Hoola is a matte bronzer without any orange-y tinge. The pigment isn't too intense and the color is fairly light so I would only recommend this for someone with fair skin. Their is no orange tint to this bronzer. It is a cool tone and it gives a very natural look. Contours replicate a shadow on your face that a bone would cast, so finding a cool tone bronzer is essential for a natural contour because natural shadows are cool toned. Definitely try this bronzer out if you have a light skin tone!

You would be fine! I go from light-medium in the fall and winter to tan, almost deep in the summer depending on if I go to the beach multiple times or not, and no matter what time of year, it still isn't orangey! However, I use very little and use the brush just to contour and accentuate my bone structure in the winter so it doesn't look over done! That way if you add a natural/corally blush to the mix, it gives you a very good glow!

Depends on just how dark you are and what you want from the product. Do you want to use it as a bronzer or contour powder? If a bronzer I'd say it's worth a try, I'm olive toned medium and this is too dark as a bronzer for me but perfect as contour, so if you are darker than me it might work for you. Which also means it may not be dark enough to serve as a good contour. I'd say your best bet is trying it in the store.

It's not a good bronzer for dark complexion. It may look good on fair (if used lightly), medium, and medium tan complexions. On dark complexion it wouldn't do much in terms of bronzing or contouring.
