Yes! I use this under my eyes (I have very dark circles) it does however crease. I would suggest Clea de Peu if you are looking for the perfect, creaseless coverage, however it's much more expensive. This is good for the price though and the size/tube is convenient to keep in your purse.

When I first started using it, I noticed it settling into the fine lines I have under my eyes. I have dark circles and am looking for a way to lighten them, so I started using Strivectin. Since using that, the concealer is no longer settling as I think the skin under my eyes has smoothed out.

I have horribly dark circles and am extremely pleased with this concealer. I am also 57 so fine lines and wrinkles are a fact of life...this does not seem to settle in/make them appear more visible/worse. I also have good luck with Benefit Erase Paste but wanted to try something different. I would recommend them both but personally, I like this one a bit more.

How does this do in the water? And during splashing?

It really is waterproof. I tested this on my hand before applying it to my face and ran it under pressured running water and it didn’t come out at all. I think it would perform fairly well even during splashing (unless you continuously wipe your face with your hand). The trick would be how to dry your face. Instead of rubbing it in any way you would really have to gently pat down. I purchased this not because I will be using it while in the water but simply because I wanted protection that could last through any perspiration that could happen in the day. It stays on and looks natural – I highly recommend you try it out!

Really good in water. Just be sure to pat your face dry, don't wipe or you will wipe it off. The thing that will eventually break it down is oily skin. I have very oily skin and this lasts longer than any other I have tried, but still comes off after about ten-twelve hours. If you have drier skin or normal skin, I do not think it will be a problem at all.

Hi, I'm not sure if it's oil free, but my skin is HIGHLY acne prone, and the sales rep at sephora recommended this for me. Since it's clay, I guess it has the same properties as a mineral makeup. I've been using it for two weeks, and haven't had any new breakouts whatsoever, so I'd say it's safe to use on your face it that's your concern. and the staying power is AWESOME. Truely, the best concealer I've used.

Hi,

I use sephora's "Express Cleasing Wipes" and it removes this concealer (and all my other waterproof makeup) very easily. Dont have to tug away at all. But I have to say towards the end of the day with all of my natural facial oil and with sweat/humidity this concealer will be significantly lighter on me towards the end of the day. Even without my wipes I'm sure I can easily get this off with my daily facial cleanser

Since the product has Amazonian clay in it, it is a solid concealer that has a very wet consistency, so you should not have an issue with it drying up if you keep it properly closed when not in use. However, I have found that it gets used up very quickly, so you don't have to worry about it drying over time.

I'm not 100% sure on whether the product contains soy or not. However, I would assume that if you use the Amazonian Clay foundation the the concealer from the same line should also be safe. They might be able to help you on the customer service phone line.
As for the color, I have the concealer in fair and it is perfect for me. I don't use the foundation on a daily basis but when I did try it I was inbetween fair and light. I think light would probably be to dark for you. And if you get fair and its a tad too light for your skin tone blending with a little bit of the foundation should get the perfect color.
If all else fails you can always return the product :) Sephora stores accept returns from online (at least mine does) or you can always mail it back. I love that they do no questions asked returns.

I usually wear 'ivory' shades myself, and wear light in the concealer. The fair is very, very light.. light bordering on ghostly. But, I guess it would depend on what you're using it to cover, and if you use it over or under your foundation. Obviously, a lighter shade would be easier to blend/cover with foundation. I would try it out in the store if you can. Or you can just buy it, and return if it doesn't work. Good luck :)

Either one. If you are BLINDING white, use fair. If you are not as white, use light. I would suggest trying both out first if you're not sure, as everyone's dark circles are a slightly different hue. I am very white, but surprisingly Light was not that dark on me. I still bought Fair though, and I use it in combo with Smashbox HD Concealor in Fair.

I find I get better results using my finger. I smear it on straight from the stick, then LIGHTLY blend it with the tip of my pinky. Using your pinky or ring finger helps ensure that you're not over blending it. I always recommend using a primer if you want long wear. Setting with powder isnt necessary but I find this pairs well with my bare minerals compact foundation.

Personally, I apply it directly where I want to conceal and then I blend it using the make up brush I use to apply my foundation or tinted moisturizer (depending on the day). I actually use a mineral powder brush to apply my foundation, which was suggested to me by a very well trusted sales associate at my local Sephora and I love it. If applying with liquid foundation I'd say over it, and if you apply with a tinted moisturizer I'd say under it. But that's just what I do. Good Luck!

You always want to use a moisturizer before applying any make up, a primer may not be necessary if you dont have a lot of fine lines or wrinkles, if you do I suggest a good line primer such as the Smash Box pore and line primer, then use a concealer brush, I like the Sephora Collection platinum airbrush concealer brush no. 57. It truly gives you a flawless airbrush coverage and finish :)
