Questions & Answers for LAVANILA The Healthy Body Wash 2-In-1 Shower & Shave

How effective is this product at preventing ingrown hairs? My skin is very sensitive to shaving and I often get bumps or ingrown hairs.

The fact that this is marketed as a body wash and a shaving aid is a bit of a mystery to me. This product is not thick or very creamy or very moisturizing like you would need shaving cream to be. If you have problems with ingrown hairs, this definitely would not help. It simply isn't very emollient. This product is nothing more than body wash and at that it is pretty run of the mill.

I would not use this (or an sented product) w sensitive skin. I use Burt's bees on most of my skin, esp for shaving. Rotating on non shave days w this prod. Layering w other products from this line. I haven't had prob w the deodorants from this line; but, I'd still be heasatent to shave w this.

I am prone to ingrown hairs, and this seems to be effective at preventing them. The body wash creates a nice glide for the razor, so you don't get dragging and/or nicks.

What happened to the LAVANILA line?
What happened to the LAVANILA body wash and body butter in the Pure Vanilla scent? They haven't been available in a long time. Have they been discontinued?
