I would not use this as a conditioner. You should wash, condition & towel dry your hair. You can add this product to towel dried or dry hair. I wash my hair every three days, but use this product every day on dry hair. I also use it after I towel dry my hair

It's a leave-in. So you would use your regular shampoo and conditioner and then put it on before your styling cream of choice. It's best if you use it right before you brush out your hair.

I don't know that I would use it to replace a conditioner as it doesn't feel to me, that it conditions as well as a conditioner. You would have to use a lot of the product to get the same results. However, it is a great addition to your conditioning regime.

Yes, this would be a great scalp moisturizer. If you feel you need another layer of conditioner, try an argan oil such as Morroccan Oil.

While it is nourishing all over the hair, it does tend to show better results applied to hair ends, so I don't know if you'll be happy with scalp applications, because it might not work to its full extent.

This product is only really for the ends of your hair, not the scalp. I would maybe try a deep conditioner weekly, maybe just something like natural shea butter.

No, avoid the scalp. I recommend the Phytopolleine Universal Elixer - Scalp Stimulant or Phytospecific Revitalizing Treatment to treat a dry, tight scalp. You can easily whip up a pre-shampoo oil treatment using jojoba, olive, coconut, or rosemary herbal oil.

I'd imagine that Phyto 7 might be a better fit. I am biracial (black and hispanic) with very dry curly hair and Phyto 9 moisturizes my hair very well so it might be too much for someone who doesn't have as curly/dry hair. Just a suggestion :)

This pdt is perfect for her. After Shampooing, just use a dime - sized amount( this can be scaled accordingly as you use ) to her hair by rubbing the phyto 9 over hands then thru hair starting at the ends. Work it all thru hair even on the top over her head where the frizzies show. This will not make the hair oily or weigh it down. enjoy

Yes I think this product would work pretty well on your daughter :)
I'm oriental, too. Both me and my mom tried this product, and even though we have very different hair type, Phyto 9 Daily Nourishing Cream worked on both of us. For my thick and long hair it gave shine and tamed my shorter thinner hair; for my mom's extremely thin and coarse hair the effect was more obvious, her dry ends were immediately shiny and her fly-aways were in control again, I think it also thickened her hair a little bit. The biggest difference she noticed was that her hair in general was easier to style and her fly-aways don't itch her anymore (her hair used to be so thin that anyone came in contact with her fly-away would itch LOL.) You only need a little bit each usage, just spread in your palm and work through the hair, especially at the ends.

This product may be suitable for your daughter. It is very good at making your hair softer and smoother, more manageable. It depends on how frizzy and puffy her hair is. If her hair is very puffy, she may do better with a product like Frederic Fekkai smoothing cream, which is a little bit heavier but also helps to smooth hair. If you have a sephora store near you, you can go in and ask for a sample of both of them, and they can give you a little bit in a jar to try.

I have found that Phyto 9 helps with hair health in general by hydrating my hair and making a bit stronger and less prone to break; however, concerning hair loss I'd recommend their dietary supplement which really helped reduce my hair shedding and possibly their Phytocyane line which specifically addressing thinning. Good luck :)

Im not sure that this product can completely stop hair loss but I have experienced a significant decrease in shedding since I began using the product. I have only been using it for three weeks but I have noticed fewer stray hairs on my clothes when I comb my hair and less hair in the brush. I havent made any other significant changes to my haircare regimen so im guessing that this product is what is causing me to shed less. I hope this helps.

Not really! But the quality of the hair gets better which makes it look healthier. (From personal experience, I have taken 250 mg of magnesium pills once a day for hair loss and that has helped considerably - but do not expect immediate results - it takes quite a few months to notice a change)

Would this be a good product for curly hair and frizz?
I am looking for a product that I can put on my dryed hair, to help with the frizz. I condition my hair daily and either diffuse it or let it air dry. I always still seem to have the "halo frizz" and am looking for a good product!

I used to have very curly and frizzy hair. I used to shampoo, condition, rinse and then put Phyto 9 on, comb my hair and let it air dry. The end result... beautiful curls... everyone use to compliment my hair. You might want to also use a few drops of any kind of serum which makes hair look really silky.

This is a great product for dry curly hair. It's made a great improvement in the damage and frizz, so my curls are looking healthier and smoother the more I use it too. I think the directions suggest using on wet hair, but I prefer coating it on my dry hair, it makes my hair super soft and frizz free!

I may not have curly hair, but mine has a natural wave that loves to frizz out. This cream finally smoothed out my frizz. However, I definitely suggest combining this with the Phytobrush shampoo. My hair went all day, even in the humidity and stayed smooth.

7 is far lighter. I have silky fine/curly/kinky/frizzy hair and 7 didn't cut it so I tried 9 and initially used too much so a little goes a long way--concentrate on the lower 2 inches of your hair.

I initially tried Phyto 9 as a sample, and was impressed with the quick results. Then, I bought Phyto 7 by mistake. Immediately I noticed that my hair would not get as shiny and silky smooth as with Phyto 9 (sort-of a blind study, if you would, as I did not even glance at the label until I noticed the difference to see that it is 7 instead of 9). I have fine, color-treated hair, and Phyto 9 seems to be the best product I have found to improve its condition.

Phyto 9 is stronger than Phyto 7. If your hair is super dry, use Phyto 9, and when you notice hair condition gets better you can switch to Phyto 7. Personally, I still use Phyto 9, even though my hair is not that dry any more, but I use it less (about every 3-4 shampoos).

1st, use an argan oil such as Morrocan oil daily( even if you don't wash your hair daily) then add the Phyto 9 conditioner daily. Don't be afraid to over use either. If you have time, put on a plastic cap while you get ready for work. The heat from your head will help the condtioners to penetrate. Good luck

I'm sure it'll help with your dry ends as it does a good job at nourishing, and it does tame little branches of hair. But I wouldn't recommend this cream if you want to style your short hair and keep it in place, because it does not manipulate hair style too much; rather it usually keeps it looking healthy as it naturally does. I would recommend nourish your dry ends with this cream and then style your hair with some stronger products.

I would definitely give it a try. Although I am caucasian and so our hair types are different, mine is still curly and dry and the product works a treat. How about asking for a sample sachet that will last you 4-5 sessions of treatment and then you can judge for yourself without the outlay of purchasing a full tube. I hope you like it as much as I do.
