I have to say, I am curious to see if my review will appear on here. I have read quite a few positive reviews, not many bad ones -- and I need to inform you guys, nothing from Sephora -- which I LOVE for the makeup, mind you -- has worked as well as a good salon straightening. To break the chemical bonds in curlier/wavier/coarser hair, you gotta use dangerous chemicals, which Sephora won't sell to you! Now if you have less damaged, easy to work with hair, then by all means go for the straighteners from sephora, but not if you have hair as difficult as mine!

It works well on permed hair. I used it after having a perm for just over a month. It seems to give the perm a boost.
