After I let it absorb completely when I use it in the morning, yes I do still use a little concelor on under my eyes.

Yes, you can use concealer over it, but I would wait until the product completely dries before concealer application because it does tend to react with other products and ball up.

Yes, you can do that, and you will have better results with your concealer once you have applied the serum as a foundation primer.

Yes, I recommend it. If lotions and creams make your eyes feel 'heavy" then I stick to using this product only at night.

I personally had a really hard time putting anything over it without it balling up and not being easy to work with. Kinda felt more like a primer then anything else to me. But I was not real pleased with this product :( maybe someone else has a better advice then me.

Yes, but the trick is to use just a verrry thin layer of the Brandt and let it completely dry first. If you use too much of the serum, it clumps up which becomes much more noticeable when it's mixed with concealer.

I did use concealer over it. But the product itself doesn't absorb into the skin very well, so it would clump up when I started applying concealer.

Absolutely!!! Just make sure you are using very little product. Less is more in this case. Rub it under your eye for at least 30 seconds then pat in the excess with your ring finger. Then you are ready for your makeup.

I think using the applicator to massage the eye area helps with puffiness, not the serum.

It has helped with the puffiness under my eyes. When I put it on in the morning after a hour I start to see the puffiness go down, but I think the longer you use it, the more it will help.

I suppose everyone is different but this has really ease my puffiness, which is consistently bad. Of course when it's worse due to allergies and congestion, nothing helps much!

It didn't for me. I've had better luck with products that have Caffeine in them for getting rid of the poofieness.

I found it to help with puffiness too, as long as you don't expect it to deflate eyes after a long night out drinking, or after a good cry.

The ball is metal so it stays pretty cold and that is pretty refreshing. When my eyes have been really puffy, I think its more the applicator than the actual cream that soothes the puffiness.

Is this safe to use for teenagers? (14yrs)
My friend and I bought this and already used it once. We then read the reviews and saw that most of the people who used this product were older women. We're only 14, so we were wondering if it was safe for us to use it? Does it cause faster aging, dry skin, anything? Thankyou

I would go in and speak to someone at Sephora. I can't imagine at 14 that you would need this but if you do, go talk to someone there. They won't steer you wrong!

I don't think that it will hurt for you to use the product, but it might be a waste of your money. At 14, there are other concerns that you should focus on. Take this money and put it to good use on something else.

I didn't find the product to dry skin or do anything bad. I'm taking antihistimines year round and my skin has been particularly dry this winter despite it being so mild here. I didn't notice any extra dryness or irritation as a result of using this product at all.
That being said... it didn't do anything good though either. It didn't solve any of my problems either short or long term. It just wasted $55. I ignored the negative reviews and bought the product. And despite my liking Dr. Brandt products I ultimately came to the same conclusions as the rest of the reviewers.

You are 14 , and you have dark circles and puffiness? I would say that you probably don't NEED this product, I would say that all you would probably need is a little bit of concealer...But, I think it is great that you are taking good care of you skin at such a young age. I think the product won' t harm your young skin, and if you like the results you get than there really isn't any harm in using it. As far as I know there isn't retinols or any other harsh chemicals that would dry or irritate your skin.

I guess you should contact Dr. Brandt for this question but I would say it is ok to use it. I don't think it can accelerate aging, in any case you will see no difference but it will still be moisturising. I started using eye creams when I was 20 and I think it makes a huge difference to start early, I am 34 and I have no wrinkles around my eyes.

I don't think it will age you faster but there are probably better products out there to keep your eyes fresh if you are only 14. The smartest thing to get would be an eye cream that has sunscreen so you don't get the wrinkles in the first place :)

As far as I know, no you cannot because you can't take the container apart without breaking it. The top and bottom are "welded" together.

I don't think so...not very hygienic I would say. I guess you can keep the empty bottle and still use the ball applicator but...why would you want to do that?
