I too was unhappy w Clinique and wanted a substitution. While I think the color and texture of this product is lovely, it is rather heavy. It spreads well bit is thick, unlike Clinique.

Go to Bobbi Brown on line for color swatches and descriptions. They got back to me within one hour with my color question. I then return to Sephora (if they stock my color, usually not, I am a cool) and make my (hassle free return) purchase. Try it, you will like it!!

I would check out a different brand, frankly. Bobbi Brown uses a yellow base in most of her products, because that's the most common undertone--but how yellow it is varies between shades and foundations. If you want to try it, I would go to a retailer and test it out.

According to the Bobbi Brown website, you would be Sand or Warm Sand is a Bobbi Brown Foundation, depending on what your undertone is. I would guess if you have a pink or neutral undertone, go for Sand, and if you have a yellower undertone, go for warm sand, but if you're not sure, try both.
