Questions & Answers for Bumble and bumble Let it Shine on (and on...) Finishing Spray

Question
Greasy?
How many sprays do I need to use to make it shiny and not greasy? Should I spray it directly on my hair or on my hand first?

Oh yeah, it can make your hair look very greasy, especially if you have fine hair. It is very potent. The trick is to hold it far away and use no more than one pump for short hair and maybe two for long hair.

Begin with one spray--this stuff is powerful. I spray it into my hand, rub together, then apply to my hair.

I spray all over but sometimes will spray on my hands and use them to apply to ends so it doesn't get too heavy.

It is not greasy, make sure that you are spraying enough for your hair length.

I would suggest using enough sprays to cover all of your hair, maybe like 5 total sprays, give or take a few depending on the length and texture of your hair. I use a pretty good amount and haven't had any trouble with getting too much, this product is really lightweight. I have oily hair and this has worked really well for me. I have used it by spraying it directly on my hair and in my hand, both work pretty well but I just spray it on my hair. Hope this helps! :)

not greasy, even on fine hair, just don't spray it directly at your roots, or overuse it. A few light sprays work great

answer 8
I have long (past my shoulders), fairly thick hair, which I straighten b/f using this. I spray it directly on my hair, and the product comes out as a very fine mist. I usually do 2-3 sprays on top, 2 sprays underneath. I think someone with finer or shorter hair could use way less. Hope that helps!

This stuff will make your hair greasy. I barely used any - one spritz - and it looked awful.

It's not greasy, which may be due to the fact that it has a hair spray element to it. I would not recommend it for curly hair-creates fuzz.

I don't find it to have any hold. It's more for shine and separation and to tame flyaways.

It doesn't give you any hold or shine, it just greases up your head, so I guess if you call oily shine, then it adds shine.

It does smell like one of the more bitter flowers... can't say for certain if it matches the scent of sunflowers specifically. It's pleasant, though.

It does not smell like sunflowers but it does have a flower scent (just sparyed it!) I would say it's more of a gardenia/honeysuckle-ish scent.

I just smelled it again this evening when I was doing my hair. The only scent is the faintness of alcohol. I do not think there is anything floral about it. There is barely a scent.

If you have ever smelled B&B Brilliantine, it's the same scent. If you have not smelled that, the scent is floral, but I especially detect some geranium. I dig the smell. :)

This sprays as a fine mist, and I like it beter than Ojon's, maybe b/c I think the B&B scent is lighter. I think it's very comparable, overall.

answer 3
Ojon is a thousand times better than Bumble. Bumble doesn't add half the shine and it made my hair a greasy mess. I really like Ojon and the Bumble went in the garbage after one use! And I used it sparingly... yuck.

answer 4
I had a sample of the Ojon shine spray & LOVED it. I wanted to buy the full size Ojon but it was not available. I chose the Bb Shine instead & it does pretty much the same thing to my hair. I liked the smell of the Ojon better, but both products make my hair super shiny and frizz free.
