PerfectSmooth Blowout Booster Styling Cream

PerfectSmooth Blowout Booster Styling Cream

What it is: A hydrating styling cream that creates a smooth, frizz-free blowout. What it does: PerfectSmooth Blowout Booster Styling Cream delivers a perfectly smooth, sleek blowout. This multitasking cream is formulated with a heat-activated keratin compound that keeps frizz and flyaways at bay, even through intense humidity or frequent heat styling. It revitalizes hair from the outside in, sealing moisture to the cuticle, taming unruly strands and boosting manageability for long-lasting smoothness, shine, and volume. What else you need to know:Keratin, a natural protein found in healthy hair, is constantly depleted due to heat styling and environmental damage. This can cause frizz, breakage, and dullness. KeratinPerfect features exclusive ReBonding Technology, which fills in rough spots and replenishes lost keratin, replacing frizzy, uneven texture with a protective shield around the hair shaft that radiates shine and health. The KeratinPerfect system is a long-lasting, salon-quality smoothing system, and not a straightening treatment that breaks the hair's bonds and causes damage. In fact, the benefits of this system are cumulative: Your hair will only continue to improve with each treatment and will be smooth, shiny, manageable, and frizz-free without a lot of time and effort.KeratinPerfect does not include formaldehyde as a formulating ingredient. Rigorous tests were conducted by the company to ensure that the KeratinPerfect products meet and/or exceed cosmetic formulating guidelines.

You can put some on your fingertips to spot treat frizz, but not too much, or it will look flat and oily.

answer 2
This will not take the place of hair spray to hold a style in place, but it really helps with my frizzy hair, i still have to staighten it after but the result is much less frizz (I should mention I have curly hair and maybe on someone with staight hair it would be different)

answer 3
It doesn't seem to have much hold, and your hair would probably get some volume or bounce with a good spray.

answer 4
it adds body and cuts frizz, but no hold. I use a light spray at the end of styling for hold.

It's great for long, fine hair. Just don't use more than a pea-sized amount and be sure to rub it around between the palms of your hands to create a glaze before applying it with a light touch. Use it sparingly and you should be very pleased!

I have oily hair that easily weighs down. I haven't had any problems with this product. However, I don't use the product near my scalp or areas where I know my hair is prone to oiliness. It works really great to blow dry-straight your hair.

Question
Will this work for curly hair?
My current product has been discontinued so I'm trying to find a combination to replace it. I have thicker hair with a bit of a wave to it. Would this work well in combination with a curl defining cream to enhance curls? Or does it tend to loosen curls?

Question
Does it provide heat protection?
Does this product provide heat protection too? It doesn't seem to explicitly state that. I don't want to damage my natural hair texture (natural African hair) but I do like to blow dry & flatiron for a straight look. Just wondering if I'd need to add another layer of heat protection with this... Anyone know?
