Can I only use this on my nose?

I don't have pore/blackhead issues on my nose, they're on my cheeks and beside my eyes (on my temples). Can this be used on those areas? And if not what should I get?

not sure about the cheeks, but totally wouldn't recommend you use it anywhere near your eyes area. It is really sticky. It almost broke me to tears when I took it off from my nose. But it is very effective. Really like this product.

I used mine on my forehead and chin as well. I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to use on your temples because the strips are quite big to you would probably have to cut them to make them fit. But you could probably use them on your cheeks. I would say to maybe check out the Black Mask instead of the strips by Boscia I think it is supposed to do the same thing but you can put it anywhere on your face.

you can most definitely cut this strip into sections and place them wherever you need them. but i dont suggest putting them anywhere near your eyes. this product takes a bit of a risk to peel off and is you're anything like me, your eye will water only causing the product to stay secured on your face.

No, this is for the nose area only. I would not use this anywhere else on my face. Once it adheres, you literally have to rip it off your nose, being extremely careful not to pull your skin. The skin on the rest of your face would be way too delicate for this product. I wasn't a big fan of this product.

They're shaped for the nose, but you could adhere one to your cheek. It might not lay completely flat, but I would imagine only a few creases. But I would watch out with using it near your eyes. It got stuck on my sensitive skin around my eyes & tugged it like crazy! :(

I haven't tried a ton of Boscia's products, however, I definitely want to as I like what I have tried. I have read that a bunch of people use the Boscia Luminizing Black Mask in addition to or instead of the pore strips. If you read through the reviews, it looks like it has similar effects of the pore strips, with the added benefit of using all over your face.

My next try of Boscia's is going to be Boscia's Little Black Book, which includes multiple products from the black line, including the Black Mask. If you want to try multiple products out, I've had success with these bundles (across many brands). If you're looking just for the specific product though, I would try to the Black Mask. If you don't like it, Sephora lets you return/exchange :)

I haven't tried these particular strips on areas besides my nose, but I would suggest trying it. I have used Biore pore strips on other areas, and they do not work quite as well, but I think mostly because my pores aren't as open in other areas. Sometimes, too, it is hard to get them to contour to other areas, but maybe if you cut them they will fit better.

They definitely get more blackheads out than Biore, and seem like they're able to pull them out from the root - the Biore ones would only grab blackheads at the surface for me . However, I find that the Biore ones fit better & seem to make a better seal with your skin...hopefully Boscia will make these out of a more flexible material and put notches in them in the future. Then they'd be PHENOMENAL.

I have been using biore strips since highschool, and while they always worked well for me, these work 10x more. Please try it if you suffer from whiteheads/blackheads like me. These take out so much gunk, you will be amazed if you look at the strip after.

Well first off these are all natural and organic. If you look at biores ingreidents it is loaded with parabens and chemicals and bad stuff. These have natural good for you ingridents and on top of that these are bigger in size compared to biore and in my opinion they are stronger not more harsh but they pull out more blackheads and leave my nose clear and you can hardly see anyblack heads left. Biore ones are also drying on my nose these are nose they are almost condioning. Great stuff :D

It has charcoal in it which is supposed to draw out the impurities better..much like a magnet. Upon contact it has a cooling effect which is probably from the witch hazel that tightens pores. After using it, I feel like it did a better job. If you don't have a lot of stuff to remove, I think the Biore would suffice.

Oh yes. I admittedly haven't had much luck with the Biore strips; I could see that my pores were clogged, but they didn't seem to do much about it-- which is why I was skeptical about these as well.
In my experience, these are much MUCH more adhesive, to the point that it can take a couple tries to peel them off. To that effect, they take a lot of stuff with them!

I cut one up and put the center between my brows and the sides on my cheeks next to my nose and it worked great. They are super sticky though, so I wouldn't reccommend putting them anywhere but your T zone: on your nose, right next to your nose, your forehead, and chin, or you might lose some skin.

Hmm. Tempting. These are really adhesive-- much more so than certain drugstore brands. I think that's why they work so well. While my nose can take that kind of peeling/pulling once a week, the thinner skin of my cheeks wouldn't fare as well.
(But now I'm tempted to try it out on my chin!)

A really god question. You must way clarity vs spider veins. the only other way to unplug skin is to squeeze and that will make spider veins worse.you can have a extraction facial but be prepared to pay. Most spiderveins occur from squeezing over time and rubbing with tissues from colds, allergys,removal of cheansers and scrubs that were to harsh. For the money I say these will not provoke your spider veins,,,(I have spider v. too) follow directions and unplug your t zone with these blk strips. Just follow the directions and U will be good to go

I would be careful about this. I have some spider veins around my nose and I don't think the strips exacerbated this at all. But I was worried about it. FYI, you can try a caffeine cream on the spider veins (I use Bliss's Love Handler wherever I see a spider vein) to shrink them.

honestly, i wouldnt use them. i am an esthetician and what i think your describing is distended capillaries which are often caused by extreme stress to the skin whether it be from harsh products, sensitivities, etc. these strips are nice, but im not sure they are gentle enough for your sensitive skin in that area.

I have spider veins on the sides of my nose and I purchased this product, tried it out and it was fine. I found that when pulling off the strip it helped to close my eyes and I also did it slowly, it didn't hurt as much.

Hi, you are supposed to put them on sticky side down. I dont know how they are sticking to your face without you wetting your nose first, it could be a combination of sweat/oils but I would highly recommend cleansing your face first, and then once you dry it off, to wet your nose with water and put them on (you want to have dry hands) This way, you can ensure maximum removal of gunk.

Yes, you need to dampen your nose first, and then apply the sticky side down. It's similar to those lick envelopes--the water helps it adhere to your nose. Then, just carefully smooth it out starting from the bridge of your nose, going outward. The strip should start to dry within a few minutes. Wait about 15 min. before you peel it off--it'll most likely sting a bit!

I would not use this ON TOP of any other skin product. It is to be used alone on a wet nose for 15 minutes and then removed. I had no side effects. If used properly, following package directions, this is a wonderful product.

I also use retinol (PTR's retinol fusion PM). Just be careful when using this strip. I avoid using the retinol at least 24hrs prior to using the strip. I also use moisturizer after. So far, this technique has worked for me. But bear in mind that what might work for some may not work for others.

If you can't wax I wouldn't try these. I haven't used retin-a in a month and when I used these the other night it roughed up the skin by my nostrils. It was a slight rough patch that went away after 36 hours but still, there was damage. Just gauge your reaction to waxing or their other black mask. If those don't bother you, try this but be gentle removing.

I have been using these strips for a couple weeks, and as opposed to biore strips, I have noticed my pores are shrinking, most likely because theres no gunk to stretch them out and the number of whiteheads/blackheads are decreasing. I wonder, if you are using these strips are you putting on makeup right away? Or any thick face creams? think about it, you clear out holes and then smearing more stuff on would fill them up. I put a light blackhead cream on my nose right after, just to keep from filling up my pores when they have just been opened up.

Probably your pores are enlarged from the blackheads, so they fill right back up again. You might try applying a pore minimizer after using the strips so that the pores shrink and won't immediately fill back up again. If you do this over time, the pores should heal and go back to their normal size. Make sure you never sleep in your make up, and cleanse your nose with a pore-scrub like Neutrogena's blackhead eliminating scrub every day. The salicyclic acid in the scrub loosens oil, enabling the pores to clear it out more easily.

These strips are so awsome they really pull everything out it takes a couple uses but after that you really cannot see any blackheads totally worth the money they are amazing. Yes, these are better than Biore, because the Boscia strips deposit Witch Hazel. If you don't want the build up to start up again, try using the Boscia Willow Bark Breakout Treatment anywhere you get blackheads or occasional breakouts. If you use it on a regular basis it helps keep the pores clean. Use it under your moisturizer. It works great for me!!

No, pore strips aren't long term. They just yank out your blackheads but you'll get them again. The only way to manage the blackheads as with any skin care issue or health issue you must balance/regulate your skin/body. Blackheads like acne is because skin over produce oil/sebum, and shedding of old skin cells isn't efficient, clogging pores.

I've used Biore in the past, and they definitely left blackheads and glue residue on my nose. I've just tried the Boscia strips and they remove most of the blackheads (enough to notice a difference) and leave no residue.

After I take these off I wash my nose with water and then apply josie maran argan oil or ole henriksen serum or a moisturizer just follow with the rest of your skincare after use or you can leave your skin the way it is because these do not dry your skin at all and make your nose so soft. It is just what your prefer.

i go over with with an alcohol pad just to remove any residual glue. i do follow with my facial cream, but i do wait a little while before putting it on, so as to not go right back and clog my pores after just cleaning them

You cleanse, then do the strips. Once you peel them off you can tone and moisturize.

I usually use toner and a cotton pad to remove the excess glue that sometimes remains on. Then I use lotion. But don't use makeup, your pores are open and you will be putting gunk right back in.
